If Toby got injured it would be worrying times though now wouldn't you think?

CCV very poor today and I expect far far better from Wimmer.

Any player that is gonna be on the bench for 90% of the time is going to look rusty when they play for 1 or 2 games here and there. Wimmer showed last season given a run in the team that he's a very capable backup to have, lots of people wanted him to stay in the side when Jan came back from injury. CCV is 5th choice cb if we play with a 4. And if we want to stay with a back 3 then Davies is also an option there. I don't think it's a priority. I'm more worried about our midfield and forward options tbh.

Crazy ass fa cup game. Gotta love it. I have no sympathy for their lot. We won. Simple as that.

I have mixed feelings about the opposition. On one hand, good for them in terms of having a go. But on the other, they made every Pulis side I've seen look like Barcelona by comparison. They were very physical, and long ball specialists. Some days it works... Like today against an inexperienced team and a friendly ref. Other days against an experienced team and a stricter ref, they get walloped and end the game with nine players on the pitch.

Well done to our boys for grinding it out. Showed a lot of character.

My one criticism of Poch, is that he must show all opposition some respect. It was clear from the outset, that we weren't going to,adjust our tactics to address their way of playing. Perhaps we should have, as clearly we were caught by surprise today.

For those of you calling it a disgrace, it's the FA Cup guys. That's what makes it special. Lower league teams see a chance to course an upset and play like men possessed. No shame in being pushed to the limit. If Prem teams breezed though every time it wouldn't be the competition it is. Fantastic cup tie.

To all the Gooners and Spammers who were probably chomping at the bit and beside themselves at the thought of taking pot shots at us with endless trolling and jokes, at half time or with us 3-2 down with 88 mins on the clock of normal time and down to 10 men to go, jog on the show's over, sit down and shut up !

Great game of cup football, fair play to Wycombe you've done your fans proud, it was far too close for comfort but we battled back well in adversity. A shame that Vincent didn't net the winner from open play with that header deep into injury time but with that many minutes left to go in injury time I will take a win any way anyhow so I was just as grateful when it arrived !!!! COYS !!!!

well bet this place was in meltdown for 95 minutes:whistle:

that was an escape, and poor Wycombe deserved at least a draw.

the 1 thing we can take from that game though is CCV is too slow.

Good to see that we had the desire, resilience and composure to win the game despite being a goal down with
only 6 minutes of regular time left and with being a man short.

More from Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino: "We did not underestimate them. Credit them, we cannot play them down. It was very difficult for us. It was difficult to stop them, they showed more desire and quality on the pitch. It is only fair to say the truth.

"This is the beauty of the FA Cup. It's magic. This is completely different to Spain or France. It is the oldest competition in the world and the teams and people try to win to lift the trophy. It is always special.

"We will try to win the three competitions. It is tough because you need all the squad."

I can imagine Poch said something different to the players, however what an excellent response this is. I can't imagine Mourinho, Pulis or Klopp saying something like this - they probably would have made excuses "Not at our best" etc.

Poch nails it in post-match interview: if you're in the Tottenham squad, you should be able to handle games like this, and if not, there's something wrong.

My 2 favourite teams played out a classic. I love the fa cup. Today showed why it's the best cup competition in football.
