Still not sure what type of player he is. Is he a CM, box to box? Is he an AM? Is he a winger? Cause he has all those attributes, but where does he look best? I haven't seen enough of him play to make that call. Anyone else?

Also, can we correct the spelling of his name in this thread? I am pretty sure it is Bazoer.

Good player but unless we were going to play 433 not sure where he would fit in. Technically solid CM, great feet and bundles of energy. With Onomah and Winks vying for game time not sure Bazoer would play more games for us (unless we loan Onomah).

Isco is exactly the player we need.

He isn't really. He's a very good player, who would no doubt add to our squad. But what we need is a pacey player who dribbles past people and scores 15 goals a season. Isco isn't that at all.

For sure, he said he wanted to compete. But the right amount of cash and you can get most players. He will be too expensive as is now.

He was probably too expensive then.....

Re Riechedly Bazoer, I read some quotes the other day from Bosz the Ajax Manager saying that Bazoer was likely to leave in January. Can't remember where I saw it though.

No we don't. We need a playmaker who can unlock defenses with eye of the needle passes when teams sit in against us - which they do a LOT. We have goal scoring midfielders in Eriksen, Alli and Lamela. That said, if the former now starts getting played in the 10 role, like he did against CSKA, then he could be our playmaker, he's been stuck out on the left for too long now. He showed his quality on Wednesday night with his best performance of the season.

We could certainly do with more speed on the flanks but we have N'Koudou and hopoefully N'Jie comes back next season as well.

Thing is you've forgotten Onomah , who has not even played in his preferred position of CM.

Here is a great vid showing Josh as in the CM position and all he could bring to our team.

This is the ITK Discussion thread, there's an Onomah thread where you can get your jollies in and that aside, there's a no pic/vid policy in this thread. You're taking the piss.

Finally, something I can get my teeth in to. I feel fulfilled.

I disagree - we need brains to unlock stubborn teams and create clearer chances for others, as well as someone to get goals himself. We also need a star player to raise the whole level at the club. He'd be another VDV and I think perfect for us.

And, although he might not be the quickest, he is a fantastic dribbler, better then any of our current AM's. Personaly I think his goals ratio would go up if he played for a team like ours, at RM there is such a pressure to hold down a spot he needs to be clever about how he plays.

Isco is in Madrid's starting XI at the moment (don't know if that will change when everyone is fit), we're 5th in the PL, and have been knocked out of the CL. Don't fancy our chances of getting him in January at all.

Pretty sure what you have just described is a world-class player.

Yeah, his last season at Malaga, where basically everything went through him, he was quite prolific. There's such a pecking order at Real, it's a wonder anyone can play with freedom.

lol every window we say the same shit though.

"we need a isco, hazard, mahrez, type. someone who can beat players with their dribbling and pace, has the creativty and trickery to deliver the final killer ball, and if they can score 10 - 15 goals, that would make us contender "

and every season we either sign a sub par player like chadli, or a pay premium for someone whos not really there.

Regarding the talk of Bazoer leaving in January, but not going to one of the huge clubs, because he wants to be playing regularly:

Would he not have his work cut out to be on our bench every game to start with?

Surely there are teams still in the Champions League that he would find it easier to break in to. If he's looking more at long-term progression, maybe we're the ideal club for him, but short term he probably would see limited playing time.
