Happy for our boys. They did well.
Funny, spurs and leicester players excels for the national team aswell as their clubs. So much for people who are saying were only in the title race cause man u, city and chelsea are having an off-season. Our boys are doing it on all levels.

Oh but hang on......Rooney will be back in the team when he's no longer injured....he should be given the job of cutting the half time oranges and that's it.

Worse than that Woy has already said Wilshire is better than Alli and Dier... tosser.

Putting aside the much deserved Spurs love-in for a second, that's possibly the first time I've seen England transferring the Prem style of energetic football to the international scene.

Typically, we're a more sombre affair in international games. There may have been flashes of our domestic game in some of the qualifiers, but tonight we looked like a generally strong English club team just going full throttle at the opposition.

I know that pre-Prem the England team used to represent the league pretty well by being physical huff and puff stuff, but I haven't seen this type of England side before; technically strong, confident, and relentless.

Will be challenging for years to come if we can keep this group of players and coaches together. Roy should be kissing Poch's ass for what he has done for him!

Heard in commentary that Roy was planning on giving every outfielder a start, which would mean 10 changes. Having said that, playing like tonight I'm sure a part of him would like to see if this side can replicate that performance.

Lets hope so. We want our players fresh for the bin dippers.

I think we looked the best we have in an age because we played the same way those players play week in week out.
Normally its the same old guard with no pace on the pitch sitting back playing sideways tippy tappy keep the ball and bore us to tears crap.
You cant play one way 50 weeks of the year and then turn up for England and try to do something else.
Theres absolutely no doubt where the strengths are in Englands best players and its not sit and defend or play keep ball.
Still think it'll be back to Rooney Carrick Wiltshire Welbeck Sterling come the Summer despite what we've just seen.
And that would be pathetic frankly.
We'll see.

Just watching the post match show and the German manager is on saying England deserved it, even at 2-0 he didn't like how undynamic Germany were.

Fair play...

As for England. Thar was fun. Can England be like that more often please?!
Clyne wasn't good enough, perhaps not protected enough by Llanana, but still.

Great to see England's premier league top strikers both scoring, quality. Yes I thought Tottenham's players were the best, but there was great stuff to see across the pitch.

I love all the goals but somehow Dier's was my proudest. He was his usual self, quietly effective, so to grab a goal at the death and show he has a total game...
Loved it.

Well done England. A quality friendly.

Wonder if anyone has reminded Southgate that he left Dier out of his final squad for u21's ;last summer....
