It actually feels like a disadvantage going in level at half time. I'm worried about the second half now.

That's a good first half performance - should be at least one up against a solid and consistently picked CP team. We've owned them with two or 3 key new players - Delli Alli is becoming a dream - Son getting up to speed. Palace are still very dangerous - but we need to keep the faith. Ironically our biggest problem today - seems to be Harry Kane's confidence...8-(

First 35 minutes very good although lots of half chances.

Christian Eriksen's 17 goals in the last two seasons won us countless points. He has the most end product in this entire side and without him, it's not surprising we aren't popping up with key goals in matches like this and Everton. We need to get him on in this match.

Decent half. Need Chadli to release the ball quicker when he has it on the left wing.

Really miss Rose supporting him though. I think Eriksen will do well, fresh legs and plenty of space in front of their back four.

the full backs are our biggest problem, neither offer what they're supposed to in an attacking sense.

Son has pace, but he's getting shocked at the pace and physicality of the PL at the moment. Lamela is low on confidence and taking too many touches, ditto Kane. And Chadli is just.. Chadli, seems to do everything slowly.

We are playing well, we have a very very young team but they are looking good. Better game from Lamela too. Son looks a talent he is quicker than I thought.

Well didn't expect us to dominate Palace for so long in that first half.

Some bright inventive play from Son, Lamela and Alli.

Hopefully we can make it count second half.

I think we've played pretty well, Lamela started brightly but faded as the half went on. Son is fucking rapid. I feel like Palace will go for it in the second half, they'll probably bring a striker on and move Bolasie out on a wing and he'll tear shit up like he always does.

Looking dangerous up top, though Kane's desperation for a goal cost us, when he blew the ball across goal instead of passing to Lamela.

Oh and we have the wrong full backs on!

Agree. If you're going to spend £20m. Do it on a player like him. Excellent technician. 2 good feet. Direct and pacy. Match 3 and you can already tell he's going to be a good signing.

Good first half, overall. Giving them gifts around the box with unnecessary free kicks though which has given them encouragement. They are defending well and are organised and disciplined and we need a lock picker to thread something between a couple players and put one of the lads in.

Also, the fullbacks aren't overlapping properly when needed.

Happy with much of the forward play in our intention, though.
