My gf has very nicely kindly booked us on the stadium tour today as a present for my birthday (yesterday).

I have been to the lane plenty of times but specifically on the tour - does anybody have any tips at all on getting the best out of it ? Which bits to pay special attention to. Any hidden features that might not be covered by the guide. Even where to stand in the party 'queue' to get best view.

Thanks in advance

Thanks v much. Just finished. Very interesting. No new info on stadium, except that the footprint will cover about 60% of the current pitch

Top drawer left hand side of the desk in the chairmans office usually has some peruvian marching powder. Although they may have moved the offices to the new building, so you'll have to go through ade's locker.

It lasts 1.5 hours. They showed us the board room but you're not allowed in :). Got to sit in Poch's seat in the dugout, and in the press room. It's good fun. You can sit in Levy's seat in the directors box if you want. And they still have the phone that Hoddle used when he'd sit in the stand first half of games

If you go on to the pitch the groundsman shouts at you. Worth it though.
