Fixed.

What i do know is that we need to fully back any manager 100% and give him until at least November.

Only you could use the words "fully back any manager 100%" and "give him until at least November" in the same sentence :ROFLMAO:

I'm not particularly keen on Pochettino coming in, but even I would give him at least a season!

A few more for the 'con' section:

Zero wins gained when losing a game - shows a lack of ability to change the course of a game when things aren't going well.

Southampton managed to score less goals than goal-shy Spurs this season.

Not a big enough name to persuade players to stay or join.

Never managed a team with expectations of success.

Won't establish a rapport with the fans if speaking via a translator.

Guess what! Except the last point Rodgers & Martinez tick rest of them, when they managed Swansea & Wigan....

The last point ? Sherwood talked BS all the time; I am all ok for a manager who doesnt speak english. Not many understood what Jol said even when he spoke English. Didnt the fans took a liking to him ? Point is, fans need to see if teh manager can provide success on field; Rest is unnecessary

With regards to Southampton, point you miss is they don't have players in squad with x factor who can change the game individually or give something different; So, when you dont have that, its always difficult to get back in games;

Same cant be said of Spurs squad; There are players who can give that;

I honestly don't think getting into the England squad is that big of a deal. Gibbs is currently a better player than Shaw - Shaw is more hype than ability imo. Lallana is a good player, but still meh to me. Lambert is there through lack of competition, same way Welbeck is still there.

Fat Frank is going so that says a great deal about the quality and depth of the English game. I could have picked three or four players from Ledley's testimonial who could have got in front of Lampard and had Hodgeson been at the Lane on Monday night he'd have put one or two of them on standby................:bag:

Steady on. Let's see how his first 45 minutes go. Scratch that, let's have a look-see at his team selection for the first pre-season game.

Until then, he has my full support.

I'm well aware that we have a better squad than Southampton. Doesn't change the fact that Pochettino has failed to show he can convert a losing situation into a winning one. He may be able to do it with Spurs, or he may not. The fact is he's got a poor record of being able to do it when it comes to the Prem.

Just read the Goat's ITK! Personally I would be disappointed in Pochetino cause IMO he is not who/what we need at this moment. I personally believe we need an experience coach and I really would love to see us start winning trophies and achieve top 4 regularly.
IMO if we were looking for a young coach for LONG TERM then we should give it to FdB - more experience including in CL.
I really do not understand the craze about Poch so would appreciate someone taking their time and explain to me.
I personally think that we need a LVG, Benitez, Ancelotti type to come in and have a former Spurs like Ginola/Ledders as assistant and teach them for the future.

I remember there were rumors saying the Saints would want to sign Leandro Damiao last window. If Poch really became out new manager, by any possibility that we would reignite interest on the Brazilian striker?(n)

If Pochettino was manager of Ajax or another foreign club we'd all be wanking ourselves into a coma. Think he's 100% the right candidate, done a superb job at Saints

90 points would win the league most years.
United often pretty much did this when they were dominant.
They were often bottom of the mini league at the top but won the games they should have won.

sure; but we were talking hypothetically, and its not a definite that we'd have won mathematically... because other teams still could have hypothetically beaten our points total.

good interjecting though sir (albeit once the dust has settled). Keep it up.

Pochettino is not what we need, he is not going to last to long in the job should he get it. He always seems to get it right at the start then seems to run out of ideas on how to keep improving the team. If you look at his record with Espanyol this is exactly what happened.

What we need is a manager who can come in be allowed to last longer than 5 minutes and build something.

It's a weird paradox that the more people seem to know about a coach the less they want them. Probably because they are basing what they are reading of other coaches on writing (and spin) but have actually have observed the flaws of somebody like Pochettino. Hell a good portion of people have convinced themselves that Tuchel was right for the job based purely on the written arguments of others.

Wow, you fucking twonks haven't wasted a minute before deciding that Pochettino is the worst thing that has ever happened to Spurs. Should I go and create the "Pochettino Out!!!" thread right now? Might as well do.

You guys find one negative stat, grab on to it and then beat people over the head with it over and over again... Yes, we get it, Southampton didn't turn games around last season... Please stop!
