I'm not wholly convinced. Although to be fair to the lad he's a 433 player.
He actually gave the ball away on a couple of occasions either breaking down a positive move or giving away possession, at times he looks class but at times is sloppy.

I won't blame Sandro for one moment of madness in an otherwise very good performance in a position alien to him.

Really some of you need to get a grip
Game was already over anyway as soon as that Kane header was saved.

If you can be sure of one thing you will get at least one late tackle from Sandro in a game (especially after coming back from long lay off and playing 4 times in 2 weeks) so playing him as the last man was always going to be dicey)

Well done Benfica, very good side but we gave them a scare in the end. Blatant pen on Kane but there was a hint of offside on Chazza's second goal wasn't there? Overall I think Benfica deserved it but largely in part to us gifting them a few goals at home.
It wasn't offside, Luisao well played him onside but that doesn't normally stop the lino's flagging so I guess you can say we were lucky.

Nope. Both Kane and Chadli well onside at both the cross and Kane's knock down.

Coming from someone who's never said a single positive word about Soldado I think I'll pass on your opinion, thanks. Adebayor missed a far better chance in the first leg but of course you weren't slating him then.

I have said plenty of positive things about him

I lauded him for his brilliant hat trick in the Europa League and I said how well he took his goal against Cardiff, so basically ive given him praise whenever there has been the opportunity

I genuinely don't remember Ade's miss but im sure I would have slated him although he is in a different class to Soldado anyway so the odd miss here and there is acceptable, Soldado misses these types of chances pretty much every time he plays

Anyway, im not getting into one of these debates again, like I said, there is no excuse for that miss from Soldado, trying to shift the focus onto me or my opinions isn't going to change that me ol' mucker

Eriksen's substitution tonight has provided great evidence for Sherwood's lack of a game plan. He decided to turn on the game and go for it at the 75' mark. Why don't you start the game with the stronger player? It makes no sense to leave it so late. It also put Eriksen, who is possibly our most important player, in an unnecessary position to get injured. Complete ineptitude from Timmy here.

Are you serious? No I mean it - have you ever played the game before? The way this young side controlled the game against such quality opposition showed EXACTLY the quality of the game plan and motivation provided by the coaching team.

Also, the come back had almost nothing to do with Eriksen. Kane provided the ariel and physical presence up front that gave Chadli the freedom to pick the ball up and drive. Kane set up the second goal and Eriksen help us keep the ball. It almost seems like people like you want Sherwood out no matter what happens on the pitch.

Well done Tim Sherwood. He has done a fantastic job in just 3 months. I hope he is given the chance to stay and build on this team.

He should change his name to Shervinho or something to get people like you on his side

It doesn't matter who was to blame for the last goal, we were chasing the game. Sandro filled in well at centre back, Bentaleb was arguably our best player on the park and played some passes tonight that really should end the ludicrous opinion that all he does is pass backwards and sideways.

Your right, he was allowed to play football tonight he wasn't stifled by negative play.

If eriksen had been on the field sooner we might actually have looked like creating something much sooner, or maybe you missed how shit we were first half??? some people

Sorry but thats bollocks. We were not shit in the first half at all, yes the second was better but to say we were shit first half is bullshit.

Did Tim really believe Spurs would win this game? If so, why did he wait until the 75th min to put on Eriksen
