Well there were reports that Levy was unhappy with AVB before this season started yet we added 7 players and it's Levy who want's a DoF so that we don't chop and change squads as we change managers (not that a DoF has stopped that previously)

I actually think Sherwood is right in saying if he makes top 4 and earns a CL place he'll keep his job, so it's premature to think of any change of manager just yet, but either way surely (rightly or wrongly) it's the transfer committee that makes the decisions on players now, so I don't think Tim's opinion or any new coach's opinion necessarily will mean we buy or sell anyone
I think the new manager is in place, no matter what Tim does.

Fulham just have far too many old players, the balance is wrong and a young energetic player like Holtby will boost their midfield engine even if it's arguably too little to late
They seem to have a lot of players in general. Linked today with 3 more players, including younger players from United. If Lewis goes there just worry it might be a bit of a shambles with too many players trying to settle.

Are we seriously still going to have Danny Rose as our first choice left back? This is beyond ridiculous...
Baldini, please buy a quality left back.
And bring back Berbatov on a short term deal. Cheers.

I really don't see it myself, if Sherwood manages to get us CL next season Levy would be on a hiding to nothing if he replaced him with a new coach who failed to get it the next and I would imagine uncle Joe wouldn't be best pleased.
I am sure that we have a list and maybe "sounded out" one or too on a "possibility" basis, but I just don't see how he can get rid of Tim if he has managed CL

If we make top 4 Tim would have as much to do with it as RDM had to do with CFC winning the CL

Do you not remember the bit where they started the next season with RDM before sacking him when results weren't the best, and replacing him with Rafa Benitez as an interim manager until the end of the season?

This is driving me nuts. Our need for a left winger is just absolutely glaring, and it could be the difference between a realistic shot at top four or not. I simply cannot understand why we wouldn't address it with gumption.

Who would we bring in? For the level of animosity that the Chavs had it would have to be someone like Judas

Think Tim sees Townsend as his left winger. Be very surprised if we do anything about it. If it were me I'd ship out Siggy and bring in literally any LM

Oh, I hope we give Tim time. Especially if he gets us 4th. Really like the guy. Was just pointing out that RDM didn't get sacked straight after winning the CL, though you do feel he was never a long-term option.

So it seems left wing has been identified as a problem position, which is worrying on a few counts 1. That LB isn't viewed as a problem 2. We are sticking with 4-4-2 3. Where does this leave Lamela, Chadli and Townsy 4. It's fucking Nani

Michael Bridge (a journo at Sky Sports and spurs fan) said this on Gary Glitter:

'Sources tell me Spurs are trying to get at least one in'

Someone assumed it was Berbatov and he replied:

'He wasn't who I was talking about. Will be revealed soon.'

So?

Lamela is not a LW. He's either a CAM or a RW
Chadli has been used as a striker recently
And if it means we stop using Sig as a LW, I'm all up for signing Nani

Surely Sigurdsson would be moved on if Nani comes in, i can see us sending out a couple of CM's leaving us with about 9 wide players for 2 positions..
it's 4 goalkeepers and jumpers for goalposts all over again

Weren't we after that Kacanklic a while back? He's Fulham and left mid and seems like the type of calibre player we'd get..
