Exactly the kind of player we need. Stretches a defense with his pace/threat of through balls, which would give our midfielders some much-needed breathing room. Will United sell within the league?

You see his whiff last night bro? He is at the forefront of Mexico's failures.

I think we need a different type of striker. To me, Chicharito is similar to Soldado in that he is a poacher that requires quality service to get the best out of him. I think, in order to round out our striker corps we need a player who can take the ball at their feet and penetrate a defense with the ball and make spaces not only for themselves but others.

If I had the reigns, for me I'd add two players. Michy Batshuayi as the incredibly young true #9 option and then a guy like Luis Muriel who could play as our own "Aguero-type" striker or even out wide. I'm just such a big fan of both and think both will come good and also bring us a really different style to the striker position. Michy with his potential to be an absolute beast in and around the box yet still good with the ball. Muriel with his ability to pick the ball up from deep and drive forward.

I disagree with this as teams are defending deep with 10 players behind the ball, so pace and threat of a through ball are already negated to a degree.

JH is also very dependent on service and if he doesn't get it, he contributes little if anything to the team. Although Soldado is also dependent on service, but contributes to play with his passing and movement to open up play for others.

If we are to get another striker, I think we need one that offers something different to Soldado & Defoe. Either a powerhouse with decent technique like Benteke, Lukaku (just and example, I know we would never get him), Lacina Traore etc or a player with excellent dribbling skills, flair that can create something out of nothing (a Suarez type).

I would still love Insigne. Buy him for 15m, and he adds to the CF spot, LW and CAM.
