I can believe the pressure stuff

Abramovich is a man who made his fortune through criminal activity, aluminium turf wars where several died, robbing a mail train etc, the guy is a A list gangster and I doubt the chairman of Anzhi made his billions legitimately either

They are not people to say no to so I can believe that Willian felt he had to do what they say or his family might be harmed or something

I think it is more likely he is a greedy little ****.

Weird day of ITK.

I think other clubs being interested is a given and possibly other bids. However, I doubt there's been another bid that will remotely rival RM's so seems like a combination of hot air and bending the truth.

I see this new bid rumors on Bale as a major backtracking from the media. They have been telling that Bale is certain to leave for the last couple of days, and that it will be official on tuesday. Now they realize that maybe there is no deal, and therefore have to make up a story so that they have an excuse if the deal isn't being announced tomorrow without looking too stupid.

What I have herd last night is that he was considering staying at the club but AVB is over the whole saga and is read to move on as quickly as possible.
this morning I responded to the email that a front three of Saldado, Bale and Lemela would be stunning
I then got a response to say sorry but the deal for Bale is done.
Not trying to send mixed messages just trying to pass on what I am given in good faith

Was not sure it should go in the RO.

AVB would be wearing concrete shoes by now if Abramovich were that way inclined.

Chuck it in anyway. The mods can decide if it goes live or not.

So AVB went "eh, whatever, just go" to his talisman player. I am wearing my perplexed face.

If Bale wants to stay then surely we'd be all over that and happy to have him?

Maybe the AVB line is just saying Andre wants it done now either way, so we can just focus solely on the football.

Once we know his final replacements I think we'll all be over it

I agree and probably explains why the smile at the end of the interview after the match on BBC, when saying not sure, not sure.

I also think his agent screwing him over by telling the world where he was has helped us. If I was GB I would very much consider that a stab in the back and make mis-trust everything that I have been told.

Hence why he is coming back for training if this information is correct.

I think Bale may be reconsidering bec of the negativity in RM dressing room or he is in scheming with AVB to Levied Levy...lol

Get all the target in and he stays...

the budget is not dependent on Bale going, but expect a stellar signing if he goes "Levy style".

All the talk of this 'Stellar signing'? Where has this come from?

Just a thought, isn't Bale managed by the Stellar Sports group?

If he's suggesting it would be a signing from that agency then go and look at the players they have on their books - doesn't make for good reading. Unless anyone is wanting Scott Sinclair. :p

Gonna presume it's just a coincidental choice of words, plus I doubt we'd want to deal with those lot again anyway!

100 million with or without Hernandez should be accepted if it has been offered. Madrid are offering 78 million, so we would be getting Soldado or Lamela to sell him in league.
So you would agree to strengthen our direct competition at our own expense?
