LLM said he thought Tom wouldn't leave cos every time he had the chance to go, he'd go to a club and get close to agreeing everything and then pull the plug at the last minute. Which may well be perfectly true historically.
No idea about Jake, can't remember. Few people said 'he's a London boy' but that might have just been supposition.

Looks more opinion than ITK to me based on what had been witnessed previously by the club. I'm sure that most probably did not expect him to sign for Hull but he finally decided to make the move before his feet got to cold.
