I wonder how high the 'ridiculous' the offer would have to be, do we really believe it would be as high as £100m?

None of us know. However, IF that's the figure Mr Levy has in mind, that's the sum they'll HAVE TO come up with. If they can't come up with it, fuck 'em :D

Nothing to panic about really. As we won't accept a deal unless they rate their players at reasonable prices so we won't lose out.

The rumour is they have already tried to add Di Maria rating him at 40 million and got laughed at.

What could be the reason for Capoue not yet being announced on the OS? WHL centre circle unveiling perhaps? : D

Or the fact that he's not a Spur player yet?

Or maybe he still has to do the 2nd part of the medical tomorrow? Medicals are two parts now I believe. Want to be absolutely thorough and check EVERYTHING. God forbid another Muamba incident.

Dude it's the OS. Capoue could be playing in his testimonial for us and the OS still won't have announced that we've signed him.

Can I just say that I guessed at a figure for Bale's loyalty bonus of between 4-6 million based on others saying his loyalty bonus could be up to 2 million per year, rather than knowing. So please don't take that as any sort of info.

Yeah sure. But I was just pointing out that players don't usually put in a transfer request unless its the last resort due to missing out on a big fat pay cheque. I think there's a few more twist and turns to go yet on this one. Either way....we surely can't loose out!

According ssn talks will resume on Monday go discuss a payment structure.

If this is Bale, been discussed in the player thread. How can we discuss a structure when they won't pay the amount we ask for? Especially, if they don't even have the cash. We're pricing them out, and so far it's working.

"Before ENIC bought our club in 2001:

2000: 12th place
1999: 10th place
1998: 11th place
1997: 14th place
1996: 10th place
1995: 8th place
1994: 7th place!
1993: 15th place
1992: 8th place
1991: 15th place
1990: 10th place

Id be happy if levy has a job for life. I could handle 5th or 4th every year after that lot above.

I'm fairly sure he means capoue. Frustrating if true.

The Bale saga just sucks. Wish the club was more transparent about what is going on. Its awful for the supporters.

No need to worry about this as the players they are willing to give we dont need and the players we want they wont give (or they wont come)
