Hunter also said Thiago was United bound and Isco had chosen City over other bids.

That being said, he's still more palatable than Graham Ballbag!
Graham Hunter is on very good terms with a lot of the players, but whether or not they would divulge transfer information with him, would be another matter. He is probably just having an educated punt with his transfer stories

He just seems to be the most calming of all the ITK'S, he doesn't beat around the bush and he spells it out as it is. He responds to us, he feels more in touch. Clearly he has direct contact with people at the club. I think that's the feeling with most of us???

I think the scary thing is, no matter what we say or do on here, all of this Bale business is so out of our control, and that's why people freak out. We have no idea what is really happening regardless of what ITK'S say, and that's the worry. Us moaning and finding reasons that he will/will not stay are irrelevant really, the power is with Levy and Madrid (and to a certain extent Bale) if they are going to put in a £85m bid then they will. We have to look at all this with common sense, but we as fans love the club more than anyone else, we are going to see this through our eyes and no one else's. it's painful, it's like your hearing rumours your missus is getting off with Big Kev, he's got a better job than you, he's harder than you, how do you stop it?

God I've gone serious again!

Help me LLM!!! Tell me it's alright!!

You can't stop big Kev. The sort of bloke you don't mess about with it (the one a few doors down from me anyway)....if you catch him in bed with your misses, you ask him want he wants for breakfast - in bed.

Don't ask him back. Since his visit this morning and revelations about Modric I have had visions of the little rat faced one stomping into a church, whilst wearing full kit including boots and shin-pads, shouting ****, turning slowly and slowly stomping out again.

It has been playing over and over again today on a loop in my head. :(

Graham Hunter has an annoyingly high opinion of himself but the guy knows his onions.

He knows more than guillem balague that's for sure, but that's not a compliment at all. He is stating what is well known, that Perez is an arrogant twat who wants to get his own way when he wants something, we've seen it many times like Hunter said, with figo, zidane and the 2 ronaldos; but Levy is a different kettle of fish. Bale is a player, unlike Modric, who is in no way shape of form adamant on a move away. Levy will either stand by his stance or bleed him dry for a record fee, and I'm talking about £100million for Bale which realistically wont happen so Levy will stand by his guns and not sell unless the fee offered is an upfront World record. If that fee does arrive I will gladly accept losing Bale if I am being honest. We would be mad to turn down an offer like that.

For me it depends on how much is up-front and how much AVB is given as a war chest.

Half up front and all of a sudden; Levy is probably giving AVB only £20 million or so to find a replacement.

Personally I'd demand all up-front up or nothing too, show how much they really want him.

Haha! I forgot about that :)

I think my feeling toward LLM are bordering on obsession. But then he tells me what I want to hear! He's the master of his own downfall if I'm honest. God bless 'im

Agreed, that's what I was referring to. An all upfront world record fee, much like what United got for Ronaldo.

The problem with someone like Graham Hunter is that if he says 'honestly, this has just all come from Marca and it's very unlikely to happen' then Sky Sports News, Talkshite etc won't bother coming back to him for their favourite saga. The saga that fills the hours of pointless shite that people who watch/listen to those mediums to shovel into their mindless little pie holes.

They'll just go to another journo who is willing to shovel more shit into the turd furnace that is the Transfer Window.

It's tough work being a football journalist these days.

To get paid, you have to get gigs. To get gigs, you have to get known. It's why they're all part of that pathetic popularity contest on Twatter.

To get known, you have to give the big players in the media world what they want. Most of the time that is sensationalist bullshit that you may not even believe.

It is horribly depressing and tedious.

I'm hoping IF bale does we go mr levy cam somehow get di Maria or someone like that thrown in just because

A) he's class and would be a replacement for bale somewhat

But most importantly

B) would save us another month (being generous there) of us trying to agree a fee with someone for a replacement if we don't

In any situation where we sell Bale, I'm sure we will have his replacement lined up prior to his sale. Either through a player involved in the deal (Di Maria - Although I hope not) or in a separate transfer (Lamela - I hope so).

I have just got to say that through all the shit times we have had as spurs fans, When I need a bit of football solace I come on here and without fail I end up going to bed laughing to myself because there are a few posters on here that make me roar with laughter with their wit and general humour! Moonies recent post about LLM just broke me and I was rolling, And then there was Mr Pinks response regarding big Kev...Still chuckling now! What a great site, Love this place, Love Spurs!!

You know what, I care about Bale staying but Spurs will never be outgrown by me!! That's my love in done and dusted, Please continue!! :D

Oh we will have a replacement lined up alright but then levy will break the deal down to the selling club and tell them how we will pay the agreed fee in 976478 instalments and add ons lol ;)
