So in principle a deal is done (for Benteke) just not with Aston Villa?

Does this mean Franco and DL improvise deal sketches in their offices?

Can see them Chest bumping when the (mock) deal is completed for £8.50 while the Gillette the best a man can get music fills the air...

I think its more likely to be 20 million plus add ons. I'm sure it will be reported as near 25 million if we get him though.

Could read it that way. Although I would say its with Villa - as a deal with Benteke would of been the easy part, probably just haggling over the way the payments are structured and the detail concerning the add ons. Wouldn't surprise me if Villa try to insert some sort of sell on fee as well which I could see taking a while to agree.

If we signed Mirallas and he didn't get time ahead of Lennon, Bale and Dempsey(apparently he has experience

). He wouldn't be able to develop like he has and he wouldn't be a huge sucess

Now that we have fucking strong 11, another factor comes in to play in regards of signings and that is timing. We buy the player at the right stage in their career which gets insanely hard when on a budget

Prob around the 20 mill mark for benteke. He handed in a transfer request so gave up a few mill in loyalty bonuses (on villatalk they claim its between 3-4.5 mill), and that plus our 20 would make it almost 25.

Wouldnt suprise me if someone told him/his agent that we can only afford him if he give up his bonuses so villa can accept a lower bid and still making the same profit.

Well, even considering his hike in wages should he join us, that's a fair whack to just be willing to forego to get the move. At least he's not as greedy as most, which for a footballer makes him eligible for a Nobel Peace Prize I think.

The fact this deal has gone through relatively quickly from what ITK tells us makes me think there may be one or two going the other way

I know a lot of them suggest that their our scraps wont get in to their team but Naughton, Livermore and Dempsey would improve them.

I would have though players being included in the deal would delay things not put it through quicker. Both teams would have to negotiate the worth of the player(s) in question, then Villa would have to talk to the players and come to an agreement.
