prepare yourself for us starting the season with JD and Ade.

It's our way, we do one really early signing, and then we wait till the final weekend of august to sign the rest on a cheap. we'll never change, the chairmen's method of working.

So in the space of 5 days we have gone from David Villa & the 2 croatians being practically done to we might get Benteke if Villa drop their asking price from 25m to 17m. :cry:

Don't worry, in 5 days time we will have signed Higuain, Bernard and Emre Can (y)

or maybe it will be the same old transfer window of hope of amazing signings to despair at not getting what we need to last minute bargain panic buy.

Do you know the latest with this now? Jedvaj at Roma for a medical?
Sometimes not knowing what we are doing behind the scenes would be better than knowing and getting seriously disappointed when things don't work out.

We've this new training complex to fill with the worlds brightest footballing talents. Hopefully we see some exciting talents arrive soon.

Really don't understand the hate Levy mentality and panic in here. We have a really good squad! Maybe lacking one to three class playersin certain areas and we would be really challennging for the title! The problem is that finding these exact players that make us better is really hard. The fact is that until City, Chelsea, Arsenal have made their moves the players that would bring something more to the squad, are not going sign for us. We just can't compete with their spending power and don't have CL.. Yes we need a striker, could do with more creativity, a new shiny left back would be nice but don't want the Club to spend for the sake of it. It has to be the right players. We can't do things over and again every summer.
rather want us to start the season with BAE and Rose at lb, Lennon and Gylfi at LF and Ade up top than spending on players that wouldn't straight away slot into first team.

The issue is the frustration of not dealing with the same frailties of the squad year on year and messing up our pre-season by not having things in place for the start of the season
