Its not li
It would be like Sandro selling his Brazilian mates on the idea of Arsenal or something.
ke we havent seen precedence in the EPL, forget names but players regularly want their countrymen to join the league they are in for the benefit of their kinsman or friend, whatever... Besides for bayern, join rival, bayern win anyway and if guy is any good, buy him. Lol.

But seriously this is nothing new people.

Storts on COYS:
Different source but I have it on good authority that Benoit will definitely be leaving this summer. Not certain on destination yet but he will be out the door.

Left back coming in then possibly? I can't see AVB relying on Naughton again as back up to Rose.

No likey.

Everyone's a bit on his back at the moment - he hasn't had a good season because of injury and perhaps doesn't deal well with change, but this time last year we were hailing him as one of the best left-backs around.
A character, an adventurer (in a footballing sense), prone to mistakes, yes, but would always be one of the first names on my teamsheet.

LONG LIVE BENNY!

There's been no credible ITK on Bernard at all. The Cobra one has been the only snippet to make read only.

On Leandro however there's been plenty positive noises from some of the most reputable ITKs like JJetset and Edmonton

See you say that but it's only half the story. Archibald said that we were moving past Damaio but Internacional kept coming back to us which was backed up by Yidio breaking a near 2 year silence to say he though 'no chance' Leandro.
This was yesterday. Then we get these Dante quotes today saying Bernard 'is considering' us which strongly implies we're in for him, together with a few reports that we've had bids rejected etc. There might be little in the RO but there's a gathering of noise around Bernard and an easing off around Damaio.

To refer to the structure of the deal re: payments and Levy implies we're got agreements with the player too, something it's been multiply reported we had long since with Damaio; so I don't see that as being a reportable 'new' event for him, but it would be with Bernard.
I maintain the 'Brazilian' referred to by the Journalist is Bernard IMVHO!

I will be really sad to see Benni go. Good player, top lad.

Danny Rose has his chance now, he has to take it.

In your opinion do you think we'll be replacing him with Rose?

Truthfully I honestly don't know. I think it would depend on many factors. I think we would try and sign a replacement, but they'd have to be young and better than what we have, ala Shaw. I wouldn't be surprised to see Rose start the season.

aww...I want Benny to stay but I guess we have to trust AVB's judgement on this.

Zeki Fryers - surely we didn't go through all that hassle if we didn't see him as good enough to be a backup

From most accounts he's got a long way to go until he's even ready to be a bench player for us. Which is not great news considering he's already 21.

Didn't have his best season under AVB with injuries and in and out of the side. We did have some ITK about Coentrao a few weeks back.

Possibly, there were rumours Whiskey face was about to give him a chance in the Yanited first team until he decided to jump ship. AVB has also spoke highly of him recently IIRC, i've also seen him training with the first team if that holds any signficance.

Nowhere near the first team team currently.

On a sidenote he loves being at Spurs, especially AVB and his detailed training sessions
