We paid that for Modric. We're looking at a kid who has broken into the Brazil team and is looking like a real hot prospect. If he gets as good as Modric, which is entirely possible, Levy can make 100% profit on him, and maybe more.

I would fathom we could potentially get both wrapped up for around £25 million.
I would hope that outgoings would cover that alone... Of course the more outgoings, the less we can afford to only bring two players in; it's a balancing act.

Just done the Youtube thing on Bernie.
So what we have is a lightning quick midget who, although right-footed, can shoot or cross with either foot, will choose to pass when it's a better option than shooting, is tricky and hell, has good positional play, follows up on shots instead of admiring the play, and, improbably, gets the odd headed goal. Oh, and can score from free kicks.

I would imagine it's one or t'other as its Lennon's place that's under threat from both as I very much doubt we'd employ Villa up top.
It's just really encouraging the type of player we are looking at this window and ones where they will hopefully be the final pieces of the jigsaw.

Depends really. Villa would play from the left perhaps, Bernard from the right and Bale behind the striker - if its a 4-2-3-1 etc...that would be a pretty fluid three as well, plenty of scope for interchanging.
Not sure what way we'll set up so its hard to second guess from that point of view.

I suppose it just depends whether that other Forum scrutinises to the same extent that the likes of Rob do on here. Know way of knowing unless there is an end of year convention in which all mods come together for a knees up - and shit gets discussed
