Emre Can will probably be one for the Development Squad rather than first team squad
An article i'm reading says just the opposite.

Loving the banner at the top of the page for the Transfer Saga... slightly optimistic though I feel, replace some of those faces with the likes of C. Cole, D. Bent and P. Neville and you might be onto a winner
Banner is top notch but surely there's a place for Fabiano peeping over the shoulder of David Villa?!
I disagree with this, I think he would be a good signing for us. He is a 19 year old trying to break into the best team on the planet. He is a regular for the national team at his age group and the manager was one Steffen Freund. Why have Freund at the club if we don't trust his judgement?
I have seen Can a few times and he is a completely different player to 3 of the 4 THFC youth's you mentioned.
I think we're at the point where we accept that Levy is our DOF. Despite this, and thank god he didn't let Redknapp have free reign, I think he still made a good few Redknapp signings, Parker, Friedel and all the old Portsmouth boys to name a few. Alongside this came people like Walker, Sandro et al.
So whilst Villa is the archetypal anti-Levy signing, its not beyond the realms of possibility that he'll get him ONE, just one, player Villas Boas wants...

It has nothing to do with him being a Gooner for me or many others, that's just a lazy argument used against those who criticize him. I had absolutely no issue, and in fact quite loved, Adebayor until his performances went so far south, and even then I made excused for him until it was impossible to do so. Nobody thought higher of the Gallas performance v Arsenal those years back than me either. But performances like that were not as commonplace as performances like his v Chelsea this season, where he had an absolute horror show. We should've signed him when he left Chelsea, but by the time he left Arsenal he was just not good enough anymore. How many players leave Arsenal without much resistance from Wenger and are still as good, or even anywhere near? None is the answer.
To avoid the thread descending into farce, I think it would be best if wpd now came out and said who he means. I love a cryptic, we've had our fun guessing, got to our suspected final answer (Vydra) - now please let us know if we're right
new journalist ITK in the read only too!
no point if it's a straight loan. pointless.
would also be strange for Bayern to just let him go or even give us the option to buy at the completion of the load. we wouldn't do it and i'd be surprised if a club like Bayern would

Right, I've calmed down and finally stopped laughing now. You guys take it so seriously. Think about it. We're trying to get
an-emre-can
on loan from Bayern! On loan. On bloody loan. An-emre-can! We've got two already.
Any itk linking us with Hanover Bel-jan or a Beetar Strykjar???
Hmmm, interesting that Emre Can thing. The few times i've seen him he's been playing as a number 10, am not sure how flexible he is or whether he can play a bit deeper. Seems a talent though, and setting up good relations with Bayern to borrow their young 'uns seems as bloody excellent idea.
