I'm not sure most want to read this. For all we know, it's a load of bovine feces. I'm sure people can go on twitter if they want to read it.

Im with you pal, why not have a twitter thread? it beats reading nothing in here!! IMO. Even if it may not be true. Also Spurvert used to PM me last window, Most of the stuff was spot on too.

Valid point but we had a 'dubious goals panel' piece of ITK via HoofHarted earlier & now this and the line is a bit blurry?
Especially regards the medium of 'general roundup', cos there's not a specific player thread to port it over to.

It's not even June! And I get that the mods don't want to provide alternatives or bend on this but it may become problematic...

Just my 2 centimes.

What was the verdict after the twitter thread last window (or was it last summer?). I think there was a thread to decide whether to do it again- I'm guessing the verdict was no??

Think it came down to mod preference in the absence of overwhelming consensus

I dislike the daily ITK discussion thread for two reasons.

1. Some of us only check the site once or twice a day, and simply can't be arsed to wade through 50 pages of irrelevant twaddle and off-topic nonsense to get to the three or four posts of interest.

2. I've just discovered there are apparently rules governing what can and can't be posted here (even though to me it seems like loads of people just talking rubbish), with no alternative place to post stuff which isn't worthy of the 50 gospel pages of the daily ITK thread.

I'm with you.

The simple answer would be to re-instate the twitter thread, maybe amalgamate it into a twitter/dubious ITK thread ?
