What worries me about The Telegraph saying that the Leandro deal is off, is that the info may be coming from Jason Burt who is apparently friends with AVB and who has been pretty spot on this window.

Ptitchard going on loan till the end of the season according to the BBC
DONE DEAL - Alex Pritchard - Tottenham to Peterborough
Peterborough United have made their first deadline day move. Tottenham youngster Alex Pritchard has joined on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old, who has yet to make a senior appearance, caught the attention of Darren Ferguson when he scored four goals in a youth game against Posh a couple of weeks ago

Not false, no. Creative, yes. And perfectly legal if you have some good accountants. All the big companies do it nowadays.

Im not so sure fella.... Seems a lot of effort for what outcome? - to convince fans we have no money to spend? Seems a little far fetched.

At an auction for Leandro Damiao somewhere in Brazil…

Levy: Five pounds!
Internacional Chairman: Five hundred.
Levy: Five pounds...cash.
Host: Sir, the promise of cash is not an endorsement. The current bid is £500. Going once, going twice...
Levy's Son: Dad!
Levy: Five hundred-one!
Internacional Chairman: Twenty million.
Levy: Objection, Your Honor!
