Anybody who visits White Hart Lane or any Spurs website forum this season knows that the in fighting amongst Spurs fans is worse than we can ever remember. The Redknapp sacking and AVB appointment has Spurs fans at each others throats like never before, with insults flowing back and forth as each argues for their position on the matter. However, regardless of their point of view, should they not have a common target?

Harry was sacked.......who made that decision?
Harry will not be re-instated.......not under this Chairman!
AVB was appointed......who made that decision?
AVB was not backed in the transfer market.......who didnt secure the signings?

Seems to me that regardless of your position on our current state of affairs one man should be the target of peoples anger......Mr.D.Levy.

What if I back Levy? This just seems like another dig and prolongs the infighting for another while when we should be making the Lane a fortress. Harry's gone, AVB is here. It's time people dealt with how things are. Then we can face the real enemy, Arsenal on Saturday.

Worst infighting for as long as Spurs fans can remember. I actually think the rows over whether or not Jol should get the boot in favour of Ramos was worse... similar but an awful lot worse as we had a ready-made candidate sitting in the wings and the arguements on the forums were being mirrored at board level.
Looking back, maybe that situation is a lesson for many calling for AVB's head.

Seeing as we are fast approaching Christmas I'm going to get my wish in early.
santa, please can i have one day where there isn't a thread that turns into a discussion about avb.
Or is it just me?

I think this is the third thread I've read this morning about our manager so don't think you're going to get your wish, sorry. Personally, I'm thinking about having a self-imposed hiatus from SC, because I'm getting quite bored of threads turning into pro- and anti-AVB 'fights' (I was going to call them discussions but as they generally turn into bitter, personal slanging matches, fight is probably a more apt description :) ).

It is actually very depressing being on Spurs' forums at the moment.
We need to get together and forget everything except we all love and support THFC

Spend more time in the general chat section at present than I do in the "football" section because of the misery on here.

Patience younglings, patience... Injuries are screwing us over right now and it should be clear that come January we really do need that creative midfielder and probably another striker.

It's too early to be talking about revolts and civil wars and so on... of course you can be upset about results, but they will pick up, every team has a slump, if this is ours then so be it.

i dont understand the op motives, well i think i do. it starts by suggesting unity and then tries to coordinate a united attack on the owner. what is it with people? Have they only supported the club recently and dont appreciate what being turd is really like?

To be brutally honest I am firmly of the belief that any sane and half normal fan should completely and wholly turn their venomous attention on fickle idiotic fans who always have a burning desire to target and blame somebody at the club every time we lose a fucking football match!!!!

Seriously a footballer who is already perhaps lacking in some confidence or going through a period of poor form is not exactly going to be inspired by fuckhead fans constantly booing and abusing them. Should it be any different for a manager? The club, from the very top to the very bottom, needs your support, needs our support. The one constant in these fans relentless search for a scapegoat is their ridiculous inability to take a good long hard look at themselves.

I don't know, maybe this post is the product of what has already been a bad morning, but I am sick to fucking death of logging on to SC every morning and finding another 50 fucking threads blaming anyone and everyone from Levy to the tealady for the alleged fact that Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is about to implode and die a quick and painful death!! To Dare is To Do...maybe if some people had the ability to dare to believe that things might actually improve (from a situation that isn't really ridiculously bad), that the club is actually moving forward in a focussed direction for the first time in as long as I can remember, and dared to throw their full support behind their football club that they claim to "support".

No doubt I'm asking far too much, no doubt I'll get 'dumbed' repeatedly for this, no doubt the naysayers will argue with me...I really couldn't give a shite anymore, I'm Spurs through and through, I love my club and I will support them through thick and thin, I support Daniel Levy and AVB just as I supported Sugar and Francis. COYS!

How about we support the club and the personnel involved in it? We're nowhere near the point where we need to be booing and calling for the chairman's head.

Unfortunately that will not happen, there are always knee-jerkers who think that they always could do better, a lot of it comes from them winning on FIFA and the like and they believe its just as easy in the REAL world.
