Zinedine Zidane has given his approval to let Mariano Diaz join Tottenham if it means signing Christian Eriksen.

Is this reliable? I thought RM's interest had waned. Why would they agree to let Diaz go if they really don't want CE all that much anyway.

Is he that bad? Genuine question. Scored 21 goals for Lyon season before last.
I don't rate him from what I've seen, and certainly not enough to be part of any deal for Eriksen. There are numerous other RM players I'd rather have than him, and as I said, keep Llorente and see how Troy Parrott comes along.

The answer would be because they are trying to sell Mariano Diaz anyway. But I don't believe this will happen. He doesn't have the profile that Poch wants in a player

Yeah I agree, we've got replacements where he plays anyway especially if we keep Lamela
