I have no doubt that if we want him, Tielemans would choose us over Leicester. Jardim can want Silva all he likes, but Tielemans has to agree a move to Leicester and will likely hold out until deadline day if he has a whiff that we’re interested. It’s the Toby scenario to us all over again.

That said, I don’t think we’ll sign anyone sadly.

I get the impression it is a straight loan swap with no option. Maybe we were only interested with an option to save being ripped off if he did well for us? Unlikely perhaps but possible.
