Sell Defoe, Robbo & Zoks

Buy Ustari & Modric then get a quality regen called Brecht Decamps for 700k and turns into a monster of a DM after 3 games

Tophe, you shouldn't have mentionned FM, because people are just buying players they buy on FM, that in real life are shit. I'll give Appiah a go

You're right

Yeah, I honestly think Appiah would be great in the Prem. If rumours are to be believe though, he could be on his way to Everton :-(

Perhaps we should keep our fingers crossed for en masse transfer requests at the Bridge come January.

'Cross my heart, Michael, you won't get stuck at RB or CB at the Lane.'

'Petr, you know it's your mission in life to be the straight man in a comedy act.'

Not refering to my post are you?

Well give it a year, it seems very likely that Modric and Chrisantus will go to Arsenal and Veloso to Man Utd. Ochoa most likely to one of the spanish top clubs.

Haven't played FM for many years.
It might be that some are watching more international football than yourself.

Now now ladies :)

Here's a short term thought. How about turning to United and taking Anderson on a year long loan? They paid a hell of a lot for him, but he hasn't really done it yet at United. He's not getting a great deal of playing time there. Maybe they would consider letting us having him for the season to help him climatise to the EPL. I think it could be a deal that would suit all involved.

They are assembling a stonking midfield that has everything ours is missing! And they don't have half as much money as we do......

Because FM was mentioned, I was deliberately tongue in cheek.

For RL I would go to hell and back for Micah Richards & Stephen Appiah, along with a quality (ie not one that moans about getting kicked...) experienced central defender. Sell Chimbo, Loan out Thudd, sell defoe, reluctantly.

Well we want someone like Essien really I think, is he similar to Essien or is he different?

Need

He would be fantastic at Spurs. He plays next to Essien in the midfield for Ghana, so as I'm sure you can imagine, there's a fair bit of energy in the centre. I say we try and sign both

Damn right

From what I've seen of him, he's not too disimilar from Essien. There are differences, but their basic games are pretty alike.

He actually stole the show from Essien in the World Cup in the Ghana games I saw. Very impressed with Appiah every time I've seen him.

He was their best player by a country mile!

I've been harping on about him for 2 years now!!!

The only way this would ever happen is if he flopped, Djemba-Djemba style.

Besides the fact he would love playing in the EPL, he wants his children to be raised in England. I'm not sure he has preferred destination but he really wanted to move to London with either Arsenal or West Ham.

I've also been bragging about him for awhile. Juventus is one of my favorite teams, and I was gutted to see him sold, he wasn't going to start matches though, because we had bought Vieira to partner Emerson, and Capello only worked with his main players and never rotated.

He offers tactical awareness, strength, stamina, pace, accuracy, goals, leadership (Ghana captain), tackling and determination. He turns 27 in December (only a few days older than Zokora) and Levy would have to be convinced to make another exception to his frustrating rule like he did with Chimbonda
