The only encouraging thing about this, is Spain are shit defensively. Really really bad.

Iran playing some nice stuff.

It was a great call by him. The linos have been pretty good in this tournament.
Apart from the England game I think officiating has been in general. Which is quite incredible when you consider it's the first major tournament with VAR.

Yeah there have been a couple more incidents like the Kane drag down that haven't been given or looked at but overall it's definitely been decent.

Really clever corner, followed by a good old playground style pile up as everyone tries to hack the ball in any direction.

Unlucky again. Nearly a great pass.

Spain haven't looked great defensively in the two games.

I'd say based on their response after scoring that Iran really didn't have to be so negative from the get go. They have players that can cause Spain a lot of defensive problems.

It seems like some people want to see exhibition games, where the big teams rack up the score against the minnow teams like it’s another day at training. BORING.

These games have been entertaining so far. Morocco, Iran, England been knocking it about and giving what’s for to the best of their ability.

Not easy playing against a team who plays with ten men in defense. dreadful to watch Iran play. they're trying to grind out a draw for 90 mins..

Dunno if it was nerves but they were proper shit against Morocco. They could barely string 3 passes together and weren't even good defensively. Off the back of that I can see why they parked the bus and threw away the keys.
