Nah, just been shit.
You have to think Martinez & Henry would select a proper defender against Mbappe.
Although Jan hates playing LB, I'd have imagined they'd try to persuade him to play there.
Chadli or Dembele at LWB against Mbappe would be a huge call.
But we'll see soon enough.

Still, thought he would’ve been a better option for wingback than Dembele considering he actually played there’s earlier in the tournament.

He isn't. They're playing a 4 2 1 3 by the looks of it with Dem and Wit holding and Fel slightly ahead of them, Hazard and Kev either side of Lukaku...

Was 4-2-3-1 for the opening couple of minutes, then for the next few mins we've had Vertonghen sitting back as a third centre back, with Hazard out on the left side.
Think it will keep changing depending on where the ball is on the pitch and what phase of play. Good to see such a fluid, interesting set up though that gets you thinking and watching. Wish more managers were willing and able to risk and experiment in this way.

Verts is holding though so is part cb part lb , bit lopsided, France should try to exploit it, doesn't help playing without a natural right back...
