Uruguay look very cohesive, there's more than just individual quality. Think they'll go to the final.
A lot depends on Cavanis injury, not to mention the small matter of France in the 1/4’s and probably Brazil in the Semis

Cavani cried in the post match interview. I dont know if he was happy and emotional after the win or if he knows his WC is over.

Ronaldo and Messi out.

Changing of the guard. We will have a new Ballon d'Or winner this year, imo

Love the look of Laxalt.

Looked good think he is a winger playing at full back so would fit well with poch's system i'd guess
Did he not flop at one of the Italian clubs and get farmed out ?

Can feel a Google coming on

Emile Heskey has scored more goals in the knockout stages of the world cup than Ronaldo and Messi combined

If Kane grabs a couple goals against Columbia then I think that could be enough. His only serious competition at this point is Lukaku who is 1 behind with Japan in his sights.

And we all know how much of a flat track bully Lukaku is, so you expect him to bag one or two.

Mbappé on 3. Fancy him for a few more if they get past Uruguay
