Interesting, love how the press just make up quotes. Seems like it might eventually happen. If it does we should get ceballos of RM as I'm sure he will want out, if he doesn't already.

Saw via reddit that Brugge fans were saying that Spurs had scouts (among other teams) looking at Wesley, their young Brazilian striker.

Count that as Tier 18, but if true is interesting. Looks like Ricky Sacks tweeted out a similar report last week as well.

For me, if we can add a really really good CM to this team to compliment winks it is so crucial.

Full backs - Preferably a starting LB who has some season pace about him.

AM/Striker - Martial / Zaha / Bailey type.

Then we are looking very very good and way more balanced.

I'll say it again and got down voted in to oblivion. I would sell Son and Trippier all day long (along with Dembele who has been magnificent for us but time is up, Wanyama, Llorente, GKN, VJ). They really don't add much to our team and you could pick up the above type players which are much more needed to balance out our squad.

I truly can't imagine watching our games this season and thinking the AM/wingers were an issue in the team that needed a 50mil+ investment.

You are entitled to your opinion like everyone else but selling Son with the amount of goals he score s a bit unnecessary imo

We aren’t getting any money for Dembele or Llorente with their contracts up in the summer and we’d get little for the other 3 either.

I truly can't imagine watching our games this season and thinking the AM/wingers were an issue in the team that needed a 50mil+ investment.

Son, Lucas and Kane look tired, Poch is using the 4-3-3 with 2 of lucas/son/lamela either side of kane, the current backup strikers aren't good enough so getting 1 who can play both as a striker and wide would be a big help.

CM, attacking player for the front 3, CB (Alderweireld leaving if he doesn't sign a new contract), DM if Wanyama is done, LB if Rose is done in the 2 upcoming windows. It would've been nice to have the first 2 done in the summer so it isn't such a large squad change.

And wrt selling Son - how about no.

I think there is a lot of next tier level players available.. CM is the obvious priority and whilst milinkovic savic would be a great choice for the now, I think we should go balls deep for lotus cheek. Chelsea would be difficult obviously, but if we bid big maybe it's possible. He's a baller no doubt.

I'd like fresh fullbacks like many others. Wan. Bissako would.be on the list. chillwell too.

Still think we should go big on a youngish no.9. As well.

We have posters who bring such great names to the table ( Ndombèlè/Tierney/Fekir etc etc) before they get linked in the press to us and when you close this thread it shuts down fine discussion and confines it to specific *linked players only.

Once you lock this thread I find myself popping in to check the Daily ITK Thread if there is nothing of value I then log out.

Anyhow I guess we will have this chat again in April I suppose.

I love the wishlist threads too and think they'd be a great addition to the Transfer Forum, but can also understand why A&C would be resistant. It would inevitably bleed over into the ITK thread and need to be cracked down upon, which could create considerably more work for him in what is already a very difficult forum to moderate.

IF it were allowed I think it'd be imperative that the community as a whole police itself in much the same way that many do with photos, GIFs, or tweets being posted in the ITK thread. It would be adding yet another layer to what is already a (necessarily) complicated set of rules, so it would be important that the burden not fall only upon the moderators.
