Bang on. We need a new quality lb, at least one quality CM (with an investment, long term CM purchase too- Sandy Bergerac for example) and a CAM as Eriken’s long term replacement. Can’t see all, or even some of this happening in January

FWIW sources at Lyon said €50m bud was placed by a top 4 club in England which was turned down. We weren’t mentioned in that context but there were firm stories we had enquired at one point ...

Well, even if that was us I can’t see us bidding much more than what was turned down. This guy’s value is going to soar this season. He’s fucking quick for a CM so can cover ground quickly and he seems decent with the ball at his feet when he is moving. Would love him in our team

In other news Levy is counting the cost of having to both pay for Wembley and refund for no shows at NWHL. Player sales likely to fill the gap.

Surely everyone knows the only players we will be looking at are Bosmans with the potential we pay something to get them in Jan after signing a pre-contract, as we did with Holtby. Has anyone posted a list of 2019 Bosmans ? I know Rabiot and Herrera have been mentioned but it would be great if we had a full list because you can bet this is where we will be shopping.

No way the club spends what is necessary to get Ndombele. We missed the boat on that one. Our scouts are a bit shithouse imo. They should be better given it's literally their job.
