We're gonna be so flush with cash once the window closes. More cheese and bread rooms for the new stadium

What comes in will go out again on the imminent signing of the Ajax defender plus another two...

In the hyper inflated market (where Bournemouth want 40m for Josh King), 15m for Wimmer is silly cheap IMO.

Yes. Was hoping for a lot more for Wimmer. Perhaps there will be lots of add ons and performance related pay outs.

I always felt Wimmer didn't get the rub of the green as we have a class centre half pairing for him to compete against. Our defence was just about injury free last season and when he did get the opportunity the lack of playing competitive games really showed. We bought him as a back up in defence but he was never able to push on and progress. I wish him well.

Good luck to him never complained when not in the team publicly or spoke bad about us but then it's was always got to be hard to compete with Jan,and Toby.Still young and wish him well if he moves to West brom.

I hope the lowish price is due to a buy back clause and/or sell on clauses we stuck on him. I think he just needs the chance to shine, he has all the qualities of a good defender, I don't want to see him go, but if he does, I hope he gets his chance.

I don't like the sound of this unless he's thrown a tantrum and demanded out. The price is way too low and then we still need cover at centre back. We'll have four main centre backs in Jan, Toby, Dier and Sanchez. If we play three at the back the only extra cover would be Carter Vickers. Unless we need to sell or the price is huge I'd hold on to him.

We'd have no left sided cover for Vertonghen which is far from ideal. However, I think Poch is being very fair if he is letting Wimmer move on for his own career. I hope we have a decent buy back option if 15m is what we're expecting. Good player - I wish him well.

Ben Davies has played plenty matches as LCB for Wales - probably Poch sees him as an alternative there even for Spurs.
