He could have stopped by on his way home from russia

But i obviously hope you are right and it wasn't him :bored:
That would seem like the longest possible way of getting home.

I’d imagine if he were going to Colombia or Argentina he would go through Russia and across the Pacific.

going via Asia and Pacific would be a longer route from Moscow

Interview with the president of Boca. Can't find if he mentions the club or not.

Google translate says: "It's true that they called us from an English club for a #Boca player and obviously they leave in December: it's @ wilmarBarrios8. It's a great possibility ... "

As near as I can tell Boca's president doesn't name drop the club in England so it could be us or it could be Leeds for all we know. As for dealings we can only control our own secrecy, we have no control over other clubs or agents talking up deals.

Don't you think the club/agents would have told him to not talk about us publicaly?
Remember a couple of years ago Yarmolenko gave an interview to a tv channel saying that spurs are in negotiations in with Dynamo kiv wheras in reality it was never the case.

I think that's pretty difficult to state as a fact. I doubt we hear about more than 10% of the players we enquire about

All I'm saying is can u think of one player who openly talked about joining spurs before we signed him?

So they're definitely selling Kante then eh?:hilarious:

Oh good grief and I thought I was finally starting to understand what our transfer window was going to look at and I'm back to square one with solo Grealish.

Yes, like nearly all of them? Vertonghen is one that I don't even have to expend any mental energy on

He can be great for Chelsea. Don't think many people on here were slating him as a player. More of that he wasn't needed compared to what we already have.

Nah, a fair few people were talking about him as if he was dog shit and couldn’t pass for toffee. I believe Hercules was praying we didn’t sign him at one point.

I mean its pretty fair to say he isn't what we're looking for in that department though right? Or at least what we all think we should be looking for.
