The only two I can think of that we (scum and us) were both publicly linked to are Saliba and Andersen. A lot of speculation here, but could be that the confirmation today of Andersen to Lyon and our sudden big push for Saliba could be related?
I said at the time of the Lyon interest in Andersen that something fishy was going on. Have we set aside Andersen at Lyons request as part of the Ndombele negotiations? Have we then allowed Arsenal to believe that going for Saliba was the safer option (thinking we'd get Andersen)? Finally have we allowed them to do all the hard work of negotiating whilst asking St Etienne and the players agent to keep us up to date so that we can jump in at the 11th hour?

Coincidence? Or Levy playing poker?

So much conjecture here. It’s just an agent acting like an agent.

It’s common practice then amongst agents to use their own social media account to build up some hype in relation to a transfer of their own client? An “agent acting like an agent” is one that does their job correctly and respects his client and the club they wish to do business with, rather than acting like a teenager running a transfer rumours account.

We all know how Levy operates and how agents can piss him off.

As sources go, a couple of tweets from a random Korean woman living in Saint Etienne isn't exactly Top Tier (although it's better than Lyall), but her view is that the Saint Etienne chairman might be open to persuasion on the matter of whether Saliba stays on loan for next year...

But it looked like Saliba is the one who also wants a season. Maybe training with Vertonghen and Toby will change his mind ?

As I descended into Alan Brazil-esque rage at this rando’s tweet being posted in this thread, I expected to see it was posted by someone who’d posted 5 times in 9 years. I was shook to see it was from you. I am disappoint.

We need him to solve cryptics, he’s not allowed to be reprimanded.

We're there aren't we, we're fucking there, at that stage of the window when posters of high repute finally nose dive off the pier of top tier and plummet into transfer window madness ...

Fuck a duck, this is happening.

You know you’re not a real mod, right? This power trip has gone too far. @Archibald&Crooks is this your twisted version of the Stanford Prison Experiment?

Fair enough. I shall desist from Korean Woman ITK henceforth, knowing that if it turns out to be correct, it will go down in legend.

I should also point out that, compared to you, I have posted the equivalent of 5 times in 9 years...

:p

Yeah but you can’t ‘almost guarantee’ that Levy will bin off his agent can you. It’s very much one persons opinion. Therefore pure conjecture.

Personally if I was Levy and an agent fucked over Arsenal last min . com id quite like the guy.

The agent hasn't fucked arsenal. The player was happy with their deal. Arsenal were just dicking around with the payment plan and hadn't agreed with ste. We've bid. If ste accept we get to agree a deal with the player.
The agent works for the player. The players club is super happy with whats happened so no problem there. If arsenal is bent out of shape the agent hasn't got anything to be ashamed of.

He is only 18 the other important thing
If we sign him, and he stay with us in 3 consecutive season 19/20 until 21/22 he will became to our Club Trained player and HG quota like Bentaleb in the past but if we send him back on loan in next season he will not became to be CT & HG
