It's worth it for shit like this

‘You still haven’t won a shit, let alone a trophy’

How does that even make sense? It implies ‘shit’ is a minor achievement of sorts which we have yet to win. I’m quite glad not to have won shit.

Thanks Bryan, you cockgoblin.

Surely the fact that we’ve bid must mean we’re confident we can convince him

Before anyone gets too excited about how funny this would be remember this is a good story and therefore less likely to actually be true.

Can't help thinking St Etienne is only half hour down the road from Lyon so maybe our Daniel got his money's worth out of his air miles.:)

Totally agree and now I suddenly have more understanding of 'Herc'-gate.

Also on Arse Mania:-

They have Champions League football at the moment, but he will be on loan this coming season, so there is no guarantee that they will be in the Champions League next season.

He isn't a top player, he is a prospect, and I am pretty sure we will have far more academy players playing this season than any of the other top 6 sides.

Also, Sp**s have a shiny new stadium, a manager who could leave at any moment, a Chairman that doesn't allow players to leave easily and vast history of winning absolutely nothing. Like I said, if that's what he wants to join, then he can join them. I'd be worried if we were losing out to a starting centre back that would improve our defence and make the starting eleven stronger. Missing out on Saliba, although it will be annoying, you have to put it in perspective.

He is not ready to start now, he won't be next season, he will make errors, he will cost us games he will give away goals in the course of his development.

Losing your **** over this means you have no hope in the next 5 years. There is also a massive chance that he actually chooses us. I am keeping calm till further news.

He goes on that whole rant about why he’s not bothered about losing out to us, then he ends it with ‘I am keeping calm until further news’, which can only mean that if the further news is ‘Saliba signs for Spurs’, he’ll go batshit crazy and demand the board be sacked.

Anus.

From June 25th...:

Spurs are in engaged in active discussions with the player’s entourage and are fairly confident that they too can agree personal terms with Saliba.

Ok lets look at it.
Reasons to go to spurs. Cl football, got to the final last season. Lloris and sissoko already there and joined by one of frances up and coming stars for big money.
Look at arsenal. Their french captain doesn't want to be there to the point he is refusing to go on tour with them. An aging squad and are struggling to afford players.

He would be mad to pick them over us.

Agreed.

But maybe there's something that Arsenal can offer that we can't.

Here's a poster on Arsenal Mania with his take...

"If he goes to Sp**s, he'll be stuck there on a 6 year deal. He should just come to Arsenal - that way he can leave for a better club in a couple of years."

:D

True we havent really seen to be looking for CBS before. Even if Toby goes there's still quite a few at the club and Sanchez and foyth especially need to start playing more.

Could just be something to make arsenal feel good about themselves. A minor triumph in what otherwise will be a disappointing window for them compared to the other top 6

It just feels they are so inferior to us now.
For the first time in the last 20odd
Years, we own their arse.

I'm loving socialising with family goons this summer.

Salibas agent on Instagram
You’ll have to click the tweet to view pic on twitter as isn’t showing in preview

Is that actually his agent? Surely he has better things to do than reply to instagram DM's?
