Will Spurs be able to cope without Harry Kane?

Yes. We have goals throughout the team. Obviously Harry's a loss. I believe Poch will give instructions to Dele, Son, Eriksen, Dembele to score more. And I think they will rise to it. Even VJ may now come good.

Have we heard anything re. Kane?

Kane is the only consistent goal scorer we have. He is next level stuff. To be realistic about it, we need him to win the FA cup. Hopefully if he is out for the season, the others can score enough goals to get us a top four finish.

The question is whether he'll be back for the semi-final against Chelsea. Maybe, not having him in the line-up will mean that there is no focus for the Chelsea defence.

How about including both Son and Janssen with Eriksen in midfield? It would mean dropping Dembele which wouldn't be a popular decision. I just feel a Dembele/Wanyama midfield is a hardworking midfield but not a very creative one.

We won't be maintaining 2nd-place form. But ought to be able to keep pace with 4th.

It's frustrating that we played him against Millwall from the start. The benefit of hindsight makes me critical, but I thought Pochettino would have learnt from last season's burnout that more rotation was needed?

He clearly wants a trophy, but sadly we're up against it now. Especially if he doesn't return by the semi-final.

My gut is telling me that we will be able to cope better than last time. The fact that he at the very least walked off the field himself means we will not  have to do it for as long. I'm not English so am happy for him to miss the WC qualifier. Maybe just maybe some pragmatism is coming out now that we are a significant team in the PL. Surely England can do without him, he is only a 3 season wonder.

We have Internationals in pretty much every position in the team. Those that make up the spine all bring in my opinion "world class" ability to the team. But,it is the way we play as a team, rather than the sum of our considerable parts that makes us so consistent.

I cannot wait to take on Chel$ki in the FA. No matter who plays that day we "grew" as a team last season in that game. We know what class we have and more importantly we know every player is doing it for his mate beside him.

There is a such a strong sense of belief and togeatherness about this team.

At the start of this season if you asked me who was going to be the one I would have told you Erik Lamela every time. FFS when was the last time he played for us ? Yet as a young team on the way up we now have players stepping up on a regular basis.

It is why you have to give everyone a chance for more than one season, and especially one of MP's pre seasons.

One of our best stats is chances created. Yes it would be nice to have a better conversion rate but as all us us know, the more you keep knocking on the door, the more you get let in.

But Kane's scored 1/3rd of all our 53 goals, many of which have been important for us to win the match (e.g. first goal vs Everton that won't be reflected by stats).

What's that got to do with dropping Dembele?

Discipline will be vital now. Can't have Alli picking up stupid cards now.

The team that got us to 2nd featured Kane (as well as Dembele). The team that featured without Kane was not in 2nd.

So whilst dropping Dembele isn't a good idea in my opinion, giving our league position to justify not dropping him isn't really that valid an argument
