Also, not sure if it was GF, but was mentioned that it may not be officially announced Wednesday/Thursday, just that all should be set by then to give Palace time to get players in. The fact that Palace is currently bringing players in leads me to believe he's on his way here.

I think their definitely spending the Zaha money prior to the price hikes but I’m not sure we will cough up enough money for him.

I would be surprised but delighted if we do though :)

Not really. It's what happens when you have many people giving opinions.
Ha ha yeah but this was the same person saying "Spurs are out of order but it's a rag." Either the story was shite or we are lowballing but you can't have it both ways.

Does anyone have Poch/Levy’s number?? Just so we can let them know not to sign Zaha because Johnny J on Spurs community thinks he’s shit

I have Levys but I phoned and told him to sign him and Martial and Bale and gave him a few tips on big deal negotiations, HG quotas and club finances I'd learned from the many Expert posts I'd seen on the Daily Itk thread.. Should see some big things happening now

Cheikhou Kouyaté and Jordan Ayew having medicals ahead of prospective moves to Crystal Palace. Max Meyer deal is done, just waiting for international clearance #cpfc

Guardian Journo.

Amazing how they are pushing these deals through so quickly all of a sudden...

Not sure how many times I need to post the literal stats proving that Zaha is vastly superior specifically at take ons than Son and Moura and also he played uptop for palace towards end of season. I think people will reject Zaha no matter what evidence is put infront of them and will just have to wait if he plays for us to realise what he's capable of.
Would love to see that stats where he's vastly superior at take ons than Moura.

Zaha is different from those two Son and Moura are both quick but aren't particularly powerful. Zaha is a powerful runner to go with his pace far harder to play against as its harder to knock him out of his stride etc.. Think Bale kind of pace not the same ability as Bale but good enough. Moura or Son would beat Zaha in a race over a short distance but over 40 yards with the ball and a defender to beat Zaha would be harder to stop.
I've agreed with your general point, but at the same time there is absolutely no way that Son is beating Zaha in a sprint over any distance in my opinion. I think Moura possibly could, but Zaha's skill and power is on a different level to both Son and Moura. I think Zaha could have a similar goal return to Son if playing for Spurs - and he has the added benefit that, like Bale, he could also provide an aerial threat given the right coaching. An attacking trio of Son - Kane - Zaha could be genuinely devastating when deployed.

All that said, I remain utterly unconvinced we'll actually sign him.

Wouldnt surprise me in the least if Palace were leaking to the media that Zaha is not leaving so they dont get inflated prices on their signings. Nearly certain Spurs did the same when Bale was leaving.

I think it's done already but it can't be announced. Similar to the way Bale wasn't announced. Think it's strange the way they went from being skint to being flush? I have no real evidence but pretty sure it will happen.

For the record I believe Zaha will be a huge success #veryconfident

That just means he's attempted more. If someone has 113 shots to another players 70 it doesn't mean they are better at shooting than the other. Moura has a better success rate every season than Zaha's best season

It's a bit different with take-ons because you need a willingness to actually try and beat the man which Zaha has in abundance, also Kane has vastly more shots than almost any other striker yet he's still considered the best regardless of success %. You always have to take into account the lack of quality in the french ligue and how much easier that'll be to take players on. However I do think Moura is closer to Zaha than Son and we can fit all of them in at different times.

Once again as has been said a thousand times, we can't we have depth? I feel like everybody is scared of signings because of their favourites yet whenever we are in a big game our subs never make an impact.
