Tottenham have been without a permanent manager since Antonio Conte left in March. With several of the favourites now out of the picture, FourFourTwo examines why one of the biggest jobs in English football is so hard to hire for...

Daniel Levy and the baord have a really bad rep
No plan
insane expectations
board and levy won't admit we need a massive rebuild and to clear out players
we look for bargains first and foremost rather than building a strong 16 player squad
we love a massive whole in the squad
our defence is shambolic
our star strike wants to leave or will leave on a free season after
leave most of our signing to the last minute
transfer policy is a joke
we use the transfer market every year to generate season ticket sales and end up with a zero net spend

can't believe we had this problem since Kyle walker left and we NEVER fixed it

The one positive with Levy is he won't let Utd or any other Prem team have Kane easily and will play hardball with them then hopefully flog to Madrid. However on this occasion I think he may have to crumble as letting him go and knowing it's not where he wants to go is a problem. Letting him go for free when the team is not even in Europe next year financially makes no sense so surely Levy's hand will have to fold.

This unfortunately adds to the negatives which stack up with Levy and it feels we've all got to the stage where I'm living in hope where new owners ride in to stop the joke we've become.

I also ask why hasn't Levy sorted naming rights for the stadium!?! The brands that have been bandied about before have amounted to our trophy cabient since his tenure which equates to nothing!

No wonder managers with impeccable reputations stop see what's above and rightfully have second thoughts.

Actually I disagree, we should just get the deal done quickly, rather then frag it out to the last day of the transfer window, so no one knows what’s going on, till to late!

Have a plan, replace him sell quickly!

Rather than borrow Fraser cam bell after selling Keane, bebatov and Defoe the window before

This article is pathetic. Like it has been written by an Arsenal fan who has drunk 10 pints. Absolutely nothing new, full of bile and rehashing all of the stories in the media.

But it'll get the desired reaction from the usual crowd.

People will be applying for the job, AP would of course take the job if it was offered to him, he probably can’t believe his luck.

Someone like Luis Enrique has probably reached out for the job as well, its a potential multi million pound salary in one of the biggest city’s in the world - one of the biggest vacancies in world football.

The problem is that I don’t trust the people in charge to make the right appointment, they seem to have completely lost the plot.
