I actually think we have more of a chance than v Barca or Juve. Pains me to say it as I really wanted a European team and definitely losses its glamour as a European QF but if we can get a good win at home we have a good chance and pep hasn't been rotating much despite his riches

It is still the worst draw from all opposition available for me but City now have one hell of a fixture list for April.

  • Manchester City15:00Brighton & Hove Albion
Tuesday 9th April
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
QUARTER-FINALS

  • Tottenham Hotspur20:00Manchester City
Sunday 14th April
PREMIER LEAGUE

  • Crystal Palace14:05Manchester City
Wednesday 17th April
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
QUARTER-FINALS

  • Manchester City20:00Tottenham Hotspur
Saturday 20th April
PREMIER LEAGUE

  • Manchester City12:30Tottenham Hotspur
Wednesday 24th April
PREMIER LEAGUE

  • Manchester United20:00Manchester City
Sunday 28th April
PREMIER LEAGUE

  • Burnley14:05Manchester City

We play Wednesday 3rd with a weekend off before the CL1/4 (for the good a rest has done us recently!) with City having a FACUP semi final 3 days prior.

Plus we get to hear the CL music in our brand spanking new stadium.

We got this. Well the home leg anyway :D

A draw in the Man City vs Brighton semi final after 90 mins taking it to extra time would be perfect.

We also have an extra day of recovery before the QF second leg, for once it's looking like the fixtures have been kind to us.

We play better with game after game. The momentum carries us on. Any time we have had a significant break, we have faultered. We should have run Burnley off the park after 10 days. We got beat. I fear the same for Liverpool, and then City, who are both much better teams than Burnley and Southampton.

We have 6 days rest before the first leg of the QF and 4 days rest before the second, it's hardly the same situation as the Burnley game and the extra time should mean we have a bit more energy than them in the last 20 minutes which could be crucial.

The Liverpool game is coming on the back of the international fixtures, so both teams will have had players playing on various days in the build up and there's no real way of mitigating that. It could also be a good chance for Dele & Eric to get some match fitness.

So you wouldn't prefer Man City to have to play an extra 30 minutes in their semi final against Brighton?

Of course I would, I'm just saying it doesn't automatically benefit us. And they have a huge quality squad, which they can rotate. I strongly suspect a lot of their big guns will be on the bench for Brighton and kept fresh for the CL game against us, unless things go horribly awry in the semi.

The more I think about it, the more of a shame it is that we play against an English team. Just doesn't feel like a CT tie and if we don't sort our shit out it could be the only CL game at the new stadium for quite a while.

It actually wouldn't surprise me if we won the home leg, but I just can't see us keeping a clean sheet or beating them over two legs.

In which fixtures? I'd go win v City (CL) Home, defeat City (CL) away - but through on aggregate, draw at City in the League, win at Pool.

That’s the thing, I’d be happy in any permutation. It would mean either we secure vital league points towards next years Champions League qualification (when 2 defeats is reasonably likely) and/or we progress to this years Champions League Semi-Finals. If I had to make a choice though it would be WIN against Liverpool and dent their title hopes, WIN at home to City in the first leg, secure the tie with a DRAW in the second leg and LOSE in the league, further denting Liverpool’s hopes.

Incidentally my girlfriend is a Liverpool fan and bless her she really has taken Spurs to be her second team, hands clasped absolutely willing Hugo to save that penalty against Arsenal and so on. I really don’t want Liverpool to win the league. I just haven’t exactly been particularly open about that though. ?

That's the rules. All a club is required to offer as a minimum, is 5%..

Article 38 Ticketing
38.01 Home clubs must make at least 5% of the total approved UEFA capacity of their stadium available exclusively to visiting supporters, in a segregated, safe area. In addition, visiting clubs are entitled to purchase 200 top-category tickets for their VIP supporters, sponsors, etc., but they are not obliged to take the full allocation (see Articles 16 and 23 of the UEFA Stadium Infrastructure Regulations and Article 19 of the UEFA Safety and Security Regulations).
