Leicester, Newcastle and Palace have all beaten City this season. It's unlikely, but not impossible.

The home leg will actually be at home for once. That could prove to be the deciding factor. We really need to win the first leg, then hope to get an away goal.

I actually think we have a chance. City are favourites for sure, if they play their best they will win, but pressure does strange things and they are desperate for CL success so the pressures on them. Also Etihad is hardly a fierce cauldron unlike say Anfield or OT would be.

Also it’ll be played like a PL match so no dark-art, Euro shit-housery and City are hardly UEFA’s darlings so we shouldn’t be stitched up by VAR or a poor ref (that’ll wait until we face Juve or Barca again!)...COYS!!

It's the worst possible draw, even down to the home leg being 1st, but their fans and the media's arrogance that they will just roll us over will hopefully filter down to their players. We need to go at them like Liverpool did last year, not shit the bed like we have done the last few times we've played them. It would be so sweet if we did them after being completely overlooked like this.

It feels like such a long time ago when we last played City at WHL. We absolutely tore into them that day. I would love to see that type of intensity again at our new home. The bigger pitch might make that difficult though.

One of our best performances under poch that day. They didn't get a second on the ball. We need to bring back that press

Worth noting that we need Brighton to beat Millwall tommorow, otherwise we will have 2 days rest before the City game as our match with Brighton is currently scheduled for the Sunday before our CL game.

Whera City’s Fa Cup game (should they beat Swansea) will no doubt be scheduled for a Saturday or even a Friday !

I'm sure that they'll move the Brighton match forwards to Saturday if that were the case.

I highly doubt it, its a TV scheduled game & Poch already has stated his frustration at how the FA wont help us in the CL

In this instance matches have been resculded in the past whether they are on TV or not so not sure why they wouldn't move it now besides players require a 3 day rest period between matches.

The last time we had a 2 day break was when we played City in Sept for different reasons.

Man city have never won a game in a European cup competition against another English team :)

Then thank fuck they've been drawn against a team that doesn't have a habit of losing against teams who haven't won in ages, doesn't have a habit of letting players score when they haven't previously scored for 37 years, and isn't known as "Doctor Tottenham".

All I know is if we have just a modicum of the luck city had against Swansea we will win they were given a penalty that wasn't and the winner was plainly offside .

Had been hoping for an all Manchester fixture pile up( ideally with them meeting in fa cup sf) but the silver linng is that Manure are out and won't win it.

We play Wednesday 3rd with a weekend off before the CL1/4 (for the good a rest has done us recently!) with City having a FACUP semi final 3 days prior.

Plus we get to hear the CL music in our brand spanking new stadium.

We got this. Well the home leg anyway :D
