Who do we want in the last 8 of the Champions League?

For me, if the ground is ready we should fear no one. Let's also talk about our away form at the big grounds lately too. Not too shabby. If we can go to Madrid, Juventus and Barca, get draws and score away goals we have every chance.

I agree mate, but Juve is the one above all I'd prefer to avoid.

They're so experienced it's unreal, especially on the big occasion. They know how to get the job done.

I'm not saying we should fear them, but I'd honestly prefer anyone else bar them.

I honestly don't mind who we get in the next round. Being through to the last 16 is more than I expected before yesterday. If I had to choose, i'd rather we faced either Real Madrid out of everyone, seeing as they're form this season has been a bit wobbly to say the least... Plus it'd be nice to do them over again (y)

I'd rather face the best later in the competition. The further we go, the more we will earn.

Clubs that qualify for the knockout stage can expect to receive the following amounts:
• qualification for the round of 16: €9.5m per club
• qualification for the quarter-finals: €10.5m per club
• qualification for the semi-finals: €12m per club
• qualification for the final: €15m per club
• The UEFA Champions League winners can expect to pick up an additional €4m.

€52 for the CL Winners? Pffft.

Just sell Kyle Walker.

thats in addition to money for wins and draws in the group stage, no?

I don't understand all the fear of Juve. We outplayed them for the large majority over both legs last season. Juve didn't beat us. We beat ourselves.

I know you've got to beat the best to win it but I would love to draw Porto and have at least one slightly easier round before it gets REALLY tough.

Saying that, playing Real Madrid in the new stadium. All in white. Under the lights. That would be pretty special. And beating them wouldn't be as hard as beating most of the other teams we could draw.

I don't get why people don't want us to play good teams to challenge ourselves. It goes against our motto to want the easier games

I fear nobody in the last 16, we are there because of merit. I know fans from other clubs will call me biased but we had "The Group Of Death" yet again and got through and deservedly so. We were better than PSV, Inter & for Barcelona away. We are 7 games away from winning the best prize in football and I believe we can do it. #COYS ❤

What easy games are there? None.

I'd happily take Madrid, Bayern or PSG.

I just don't want Juve, because they can it make so difficult.

Bayern hopefully, not too easy but perhaps not the hardest draw either.

Porto I think we may struggle to really raise our game for. Anyone remember Gent a couple of years ago? Lost 1-0 over there and things got tetchy with a set piece goal out of nowhere at Wembley.

Because we want to get further into the competition.

I get that we want to go further. I want us to go as far as we can as well, but if that means playing the easier games then we might as well play Europa
