I think the only fair way would be a play off, one match at Wembley.

Maybe, but you can't just change the rules at the end of the season. Knowing our luck we'd win the league with the current rules, but then lose the deciding match.

We need to win at Palace to ensure that we can go into NLD 11 - 14 points ahead which will add more pressure on Arse to close gap.. Win this and this seriously damages Arsenal in many ways

I want chelski to beat Utd as I did city! I want to put as much space between us and 5th as possible. I don't think we can make up the points on chelski but Man U could come back into top 4 play with a win.

Basically every time I look at the table I look at how many points are between us and 5th, and how many we have over Arse-nal! I would take 4th and they finish 5th tbh. When is the last time we have had those bragging rights?

I am still gutted after last year and remembered people saying same thing about points gap. I think we are in better shape this year but we just can NOT blow it again!

So yes I would take 4th with Arse-nal 5th but think we should take 3rd! Be nice to avoid CL play offs
Very pessimistic mate, no chance either Manchester side catching us now.

I had a £100 bet with 2 mates that we would finish ahead of Man Utd in the league this season, they both paid me yesterday as it's a done deal

Imo the lowest we can finish now is 4th. 3rd or 4th isnt out of the question yet seing as we could drop off if the points tally to chelsea opens up again in our next match.

Seems a bit premature with Utd still having 21 points to play for, and City only 7 points behind us, which as I recall was the gap we had over ARSEnal at roughly the same time last season, and we all know how that ended up. The NLD is still a huge game for me. If we look at our fixtures below there are lots of banana skins and I think we easily have the toughest run in from the top 4 teams. If it go's as many have predicted. I think it could still be close.

Palace Away - loose. Could be Battling for lives and London derby. Remember they beat chelski at the bridge.
Arsenal home - draw. Will be up for it and are now on form again and will be desperate for top 4.
West Ham Away - win. They have nothing to play for so I am going for a win. But still big derby so you never know.
Utd - draw/ win. Not sure on this one. They are again in form and Jose desperately needs top four. but I think we will hold them to a draw possible win. Toughest to call.
Leicester - draw. Nothing to play for but last home game and big crowed.
Hull - draw. Battling for lives but I think we could take a point. And before anyone says they could be relegated by then. Please remember Newcastle last year.

So yes I am not being overly positive but I don't think what I have said given the games we have is totally unrealistic?

So we could well end up with only 7 points out of 18. So sorry not a DoneDeal for me just yet. If we beat palace or Arsenal or Utd I will be more convinced.

The form we are in I'll be surprised if we don't take at least 15 points from remaining 6 games, we'll put 4 minimum past Arsenal who look terrible right now and we'll run rings around Man Utd.

The game that worries me the most is the next league game, away to Palace, if we win that comfortably I can see us winning all our remaining games

If we take only 7 points from our last six games we'll still finish above Arsenal. That will take us to 78 points - the maximum Arsenal can achieve, and realistically they can't possibly hope to make up a GD gap of 23 in the remaining games.

It's also hard to imagine a team not finishing in the top 4 with that points total.

In short, I think we have to seriously balls things up from here on in to not secure top 4.

If we win at CP, and Liverpool, the 2 Mancs and Arse all draw in their next games, we're almost ensured of 2nd place.

If you would have asked me at this time last year the chances of ARSEnal finishing above us or getting beat 5-0 by a relegated team to let them do it I would have said the same thing. Listen I think we will get top four in the end but I think it's going to be real close in the end.
All I am really saying is if I were offered top 4 and finish above ARSEnal I would always take it. It is the biggest bragging right I would have had over them in 22 years!!! I know a lot of Arse fans and it would be so sweet, just for once to have the last laugh!!

I'll say a solid 2nd-3rd finish. With the added bonus of finishing above the Woolwich Wanderers. :D

Cup would be the icing on what I would consider a fantastic season. ( yes maybe lessons to learn in European competition) but I think it was Dier who had spoken of the team learning from last seasons whimpering end in the league and have no doubt lessons again will be learnt.

Consider all the injuries to key players we have had to contend with compared to our rivals getting off pretty damn lightly, and I for one can call it nothing other than a fantastic season. Let's just finish on a high now.:)(y)
