The pettiness from Ruud Gullit is brilliant. :ROFLMAO:

Even Ian Wright and Martin Keown have us as 3rd FFS. I wouldn’t even hold it against them if they had left us off based on principle.

I don’t understand why Gullit hates us so much. I have never seen him praise us.

Worse, he almost seems to go out of his way to dig us out.
He was a great footballer but I think he's a bit thick!

He’s definitely thick. Plus very old school about his footballing views.

He’s one of those classic pundits that will get mad about zonal marking and then as soon as man marking gets abused over and over again it’s the individuals fault.

There’s a good reason why he won’t get into coaching as he’s not good enough tactically.

Any ex Chelsea does not have a good word to say about Spurs and that cannot be said about some of the ex Arsenal who have been quite reasonable about us Keown. wright for example

Just alligning himself with the knuckle draggers who support Chelsea, so yeah, definitely a bit thick.

I genuinely worry he will be lined up for us if/when Poch leaves.

Jose's was a serial winner, and it would be just like him to try and prove he can do what Poch has so far failed to do and win us some silverware. He knows he's slipped down the rankings and managers like Poch and Klopp are the best in the world at the moment and it must be eating away at him inside.

It would end horrendously.

If Jose got the hump because Man Utd wouldn't spend enough money for him imagine what he'd think of Levy!

I reckon Levy is smart enough to know that him and Jose just wouldn't get on so I can't see it happening.

In a working relationship I agree, but apparently him and Levy get on quite well.

Not sure who I’d want to replace Pochettino. Maybe Bielsa for the rollercoaster ride.

Lads, we're still 15 years away from having to have this discussion, so let's not get ahead of ourselves, shall we?

Can't see Poch ever leaving us midseason.

If someone like Real wants him midseason they'd have to appoint an interim manager.

Possibly, but Poch won't be our manager forever mate, he will leave at some point.

I quite agree. Just not Jose when he does go. Although I doubt we would anyway, he is almost the opposite of Poch and I doubt that is what we'd be looking for.

Agree, Jose and Levy doesn't strike me as a partnership that'd work.

Talking about Eriksen in the first part.
Hartson doesn't half chat some guff.

Re: Eriksen

"Clubs like Barcelona and Inter Milan will be coming in for him next summer"

Inter Milan? Does John know it's 2019 and not 2009?

"If they sell him now they'll get what, £20M-£30M"

So one of the most consistent creative players in Europe for the last 5 years is worth the same as Sessegnon?

He reminds me of that bloke down the pub who is into football but hasn't really followed it closely in a few years, yet still tries to hold court and act like he has the answer to everything. Some of his arguments aren't too bad but other things he says are just plain lazy for a professional pundit.

I wouldn't expect much more than 30m considering the situation all parties are in
