FFS Zaha is worth that, apparently.

Son much, much the better player and they couldn't be much different in age.
I can’t say I fully agree with that. There’s not much in it at all IMO, Zaha is a really good player.

Son plays in a far better team and is way more consistent. That's the difference.

Zaha here would be incredible.

Son, at present is on Hazards level in my opinion.

His brother Jonathan Sutton played in our youth teams around 15 years ago.

Ended up having a half decent career too up in Scotland, particularly with Motherwell.

I can’t say I fully agree with that. There’s not much in it at all IMO, Zaha is a really good player.

Zaha is a good player and on I’d be excited by if we signed, but at present time Son is a level above.

Ian Wright saying Son is now worth 60 to 70m.

F*ck that - he's worth way, way more. I wouldn't sell him for £100m+. He's one of the league's best players and has his best years ahead of him

To be fair to Wrighty and other pundits, the transfer market is all over the place at the moment, so it's quite difficult to gauge what a player would go for compared to previous seasons.

I agree that Son is better than Zaha though.

I also think that we've missed opportunities over the last couple of seasons to get Zaha in; he'd be a great home-grown addition in my opinion.

Jesus Christ, I love Son but absolutely not. Not even close.

Not even close?

That's ridiculous. Hazard just ahead maybe but talking like the comparison is night and day is completely off the mark.

Their stats for this season must be close, and Son is affecting games for us to a similar extent.

Ian Wright says one of our players is among the best in the league and we’re whining that he got his price tag wrong.

Got to love SC.

It's not really a whine - I'm just saying he's worth more than 60m. I like Ian Wright!

If you'd rather, I'll put it in much clearer, more respectful language so as not to cause any offense to anyone...that's the very last thing I would ever want in the whole wide world.

As for Son vs. Zaha and Hazard.

He's better than Zaha I'd say, though different. Definitely more dangerous in front of goal. But it's benefit as such a fantastic squad player and character around the side (as well as the attention it gets us in the Far East!) that makes him so bloody valuable. Don't get me wrong mind, I think Zaha could flourish here, and I like him as a player.

Hazard though, Son is not as good as, and I think that's very clear. Hazard has carried Chelsea (on and off) for a long time, and is one of the world's best players. Just think how good we'd be with him and Son behind Kane...

Hazard is probably the most talented player in the league. I can’t believe we are even having this discussion.

Talent & application must not be confused, though.

When it comes to team ethic, work rate, commitment, respecting the manager & what he wants, consistency on the pitch and actually producing on a regular basis. You're absolutely right, and I can't believe we're having this discussion either.

Hazard doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as our Korean magician.

Fuck Hazard & I'd take Son in my team/squad any day of the week before taking Hazard.

Onions!

It’s not.

This is why other teams fans laugh at us. As good as Son is, he’s simply nowhere near Hazard. This is pretty cringe.

Sorry fella you’re talking plop. On a side note it really irritates me how some of our fans disrespect our players......onions.
I’ve clearly said I rate Son highly. Hazard is probably the best winger in the game bar maybe Neymar. I’m not talking plop, this is verging on embarrassing.

Did I disrespect your opinion, or proclaim it as cringe worthy? Or did I merely state that, from a 'professional point of view' , I know which one of the 2 players I'd rather have in my team?

As I said, one of them is a managers dream. The other one is a gargantuous **** who only performs when he wants to, is publicly speaking about his desire (plans) to play for another club, yet still appears to be singlehandedly getting managers fired.

If this opinion is going to result in opposition fans mocking me, bring the ****s on.

Whatever you say about him or read about him in the papers, Hazard is much the better footballer. I hate the fucker and love Son, but to even suggest that is just silly man come on.

If Chelsea fans have a thread like we do about what opponents are saying, posts saying stuff like Son is better than Hazard is gonna bang on a chelsea forum. And it won’t be just Chelsea fans laughing, either.

Hazard with 22 goals + assists in 22 starts in the league.
Son with 16 goals + assists in 15 starts in the league.

But I'm not saying anything other than it shows how great Son has been since he got to sit out the international break in november.

Him and Savage both figured out, or stumbled upon the Piers Morgan trolling school of punditry. It doesn’t matter whether you’re right or wrong, just make your opinions loud and extreme, and keep making sure you generate click-bait.

Incredible really considering both are as thick as pig-shit.

I don't like either of them but much prefer Savage to Sutton. At least Savage kind of embraces the fact that he's just a troll whereas Sutton tries to act like he's some great intellectual who is just on another plane to everyone else and can see the truth that nobody else can see. He's a ****.

Does he really "say it like it is" or does he take a deliberately obtuse standpoint in order to garner a reaction?

I think he definitely wants a reaction but doesnt mean what he says is incorrect. Look with pundits they will always say something controversial etc - they cant please everyone. What you agree with someone else will disagree with and vice versa...

I enjoy listening to most pundits - ill tell you who i cant fuckin stand though (and i have a high threshold for pundits) the ESPN lot - Steve fucking Nicholl, Craig **** Burnely and the rest of them... like fuck me theyre shit.

I think you have missed @coopsieyid point. He didn't say (and no one else has either) that Son is better than Hazzard. What he is saying is that he would rather have Son than Hazzard because of Son's ethics, something that Hazzard seems to lack.
