Experienced my first bit of in person dislike of Spurs on Saturday. Was in my local watching the game and the new barman was loudly cheering for Villa at every opportunity. Started asking him how he was enjoying them being back in the Premier League, and he just said he wasn’t a Villa fan, he just ‘f*cking hates Spurs’.
Asked him why, and he said he didn’t really follow football, but that our players seemed like dicks.
Didn’t understand it personally, but was the first time I’d met someone being so anti-Spurs in person.
Nearly had fists for the same reason. Bunch of WUMs on a table for the CL final wouldn’t tell me who their team was but just hated spurs. The biggest WUM in the group then just wanted a punch up. Some serious idiots around.

Also doesn't understand that of that $6bn, $1.5bn is spurs and $4bn is his other businesses. He doesn't have it in cash unless he sells everything (abramovich sold sibneft).
U mean he doesn't have 6 bill sloshing around in his current account?
I'm not having that Baz.

You should have waited outside with a shotgun and blasted his knees when he came out. As he's laying there in agony said "I'm not usually a violent man but you seemed like a dick."

the hate with Leeds goes back to when hooligans was at there peak. I can't remember the exact year and think it was a cup game in the 80's a battle broke out in Park Lane, unfortunately 1 Leeds fan failed to return home. Someone I used to go with regular in those days used to be friends with the Spurs fan that was charged with the death. a lot of hate that comes from the older generations of supporters is because of trouble caused in the days of crowd trouble

I was at that game and there were skirmishes all over. Poor buggers had to walk up the High Rd to their buses after the game and it was on. But our firm outnumbered them and they were there for the taking. Bloody little battles everywhere. Didn’t hear about the lad dying until days later. It was a Leeds fan who got king hit by a Spurs skin head in 81. Other stories I heard was it was an accident outside the Bricklayers as he fell over in a fight and hit his head and died. I believe the Spurs fan was up for manslaughter. Won’t mention names here. There was a league game soon after where the OB were everywhere and it was quiet. Not as bad as the 82 game which was proper naughty. They started bringing people in numbers then to get revenge. Luckily we didn’t play them much after that until the 90’s.

Funnily enough the relationship with Leeds was OK in the 70’s when they had a very good side and we were heading towards mediocre. Nothing special apart from the usual fisticuffs. But for the life of me I can’t remember a more dirty or cynical team to play against. The animosity didn’t seem to carry over to the terraces.

Reading through that, they are 100% certain it's all a conspiracy to stop them from dominating the PL.

Hilarious that a City fan can say conspiracy. Can’t wait until their owners try to file a lawsuit against VAR and the league.
