Some more from Everton

Love watching Son play, cracking player and the type we sadly lack. As for kane, he was quite poor but still bagged 2 (albeit fortunate with the first). That is the difference.

Unlike the second goal, which he clearly meant.

Unlike the second goal, which he clearly meant.

The way Kane plays sometimes, if the replay showed him stepping on his own laces, falling on his face and the ball going in off the back of his knee, i'd believe that's exactly what he meant to do.

Some mixed views on ccv returning to us.

The good.

He did a great job for us good luck CCV, very disappointed with this, this now leaves us short at the back, maybe another loan is coming in.

The bad

Personally think this is a good thing. Hopefully we can bring in someone better or maybe Wilder thinks we have enough with Leonard being able to play there

    Hate playing Spurs.
without doubt the worst record we've had against any club since being promoted back to the top flight in 2012.
shlthouse club with gobby fans who seem to forget it wasn't that long ago that a mid table finish was the norm for them.

Harry Kane is already licking his lips about filling his boots and Gary Lineker has already drafted his MOTD plaudits for his favourite player. It will probably be embarrassing and a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon, unless we conserve our energy in the first half and keep solid and then fresh legs on at 60 minutes gives us the whiff of a draw. We have no heroes left unfortunately. And now the cricket is getting wobbly as well...
  36. Badger
Could be a very bad day for us, and anything other than a serious drubbing 0-4 or 5 will be a surprise on current form.
Fully expect Kane to score a hatrick; Son or Alli no doubt get in on the act, and Eriksen always seems to score against us. Alli being the nasty sneaky bastard that he is will probably get away with inflicting an ankle injury on Hojberg or Lamina to further damage our prospects for the rest of the season. But if Lloris makes a single save in the first five minutes Pellegrino will no doubt point to that as being our bad luck and how that was a game changer.
At The Dell we used to relish this sort of match whilst in a relegation scrap - remember Blackburn at home when they were going for the title - but then we had MLT and some players who played with pride and determination, rather than Relegation- Redmond, a few legends and others already considering where they could play next season. Better atmosphere for this at The Dell as well though with the crowd up for it and close to the pitch.
  37. Cabrone
Spurs are going to surgically open us up and disembowel us. I truly fear this could be the biggest beating we are going to take this season. Really hope I'm wrong.

I LOVE how scared opposing fans are of facing Spurs/Kane. It's brilliant. I used to feel the same about Shearer, van Nistelrooy and Henry.

2 negatives equals a positive, therefore backwards people seeing it as a backwards move equals a forward move.

Quick maths.

Arse-mania........ last weekend's PL thread:

upload_2018-1-16_10-25-0.png

We need something from Everton today.

Big Sam masterclass please!

Stupid Everton

I know it was a tap-in, but Son gets way overlooked because of Kane, I think he's an excellent player. Wish he wasn't with them c***s. (Man City fan on Arsenal forum)

If you’re bored have a look for the Son thread in transfer rumours. Many posters, myself included acknowledged that he was a good player but not quite Arsenal level. It shows how far we’ve fallen that I’d snap your hand off for a player like Son now.

His footballing IQ is quite average though. Often picks the wrong pass or no pass at all. I think that's the reason why not a lot of big clubs were after him when went to spurs.

Yeah very direct but also limited player, quite greedy too. But we could do with a clinical player.

Yup. He would be a very good option in games like we had against Chelsea in the PL. But unfortunately lot of our games seem to be lower tempo games where we keep the ball and the opponent sits back. Son wouldn't the most useful guy in those situations, although still better than Welbz of Walcott

Nottingham Forest losing. (had to put that in here )

2-0

Well f**k off everton had high hopes of them to get at least a point today.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It all goes a little quiet then. They come back to the thread once the Liverpool City game starts :D

Funny that the Arsenal fans argue they need a Son to basically take people on, yet they seem to miss the fact when they have one Wenger coaches it out of them, they are not allowed to try to go past people in case they get tackled and lose the ball.

All this doom and gloom from Southampton reminds me of how Newcastle were when we played them a few seasons ago. And we know what happened then.

I prefer it when the opposition think they'll smash us.
