Meh I dunno. He handled him by sending him out on loan after a training ground bust up. He soon got rid of the 'supposed' trouble makers at Spurs, like Adebayor, Kaboul and Lennon (if you believe the reports that they were a troublesome group). Also Bentaleb supposedly had an attitude problem & offski he went. And Walker.
So he generally gets rid of them. His real test will be how he deals with Rose eventually and Aurier if he's naughty again, which I don't think he will be. If the past is anything to go by, Rose will be on his way if he shows signs of attitude problems or disruptiveness.
You could argue that someone with better people skills may have transformed them and kept them at the club to make them great again, but most of the players mentioned above were old and set in their ways and I very much get the feeling it's 'get with or get out' with Poch. That's part of the reason we're challengers now.
Thing with that is Ferguson is often lauded as a strong disciplinarian. But he had no problem with selling top players like Mcgrath, Ince, Keane, Beckham etc once he felt there was an attitude problem or the player was not fitting the group in the way he wanted.
We shouldn't be looking to sell players at the first sign of trouble but if they are not right for the club and what Poch is trying to do then selling is the right way to go.
I love Rose and had high hopes for him long before he got in the first team. If his head is now turned then goodbye and I'll remember him fondly.
Just realised what thread I'm in so won't post on this subject again.
