Also Rose's sending off at the Lane when it was 0-0 and a perfectly good tackle, we ended up losing 4 or 5-0 and Rose's card was overturned.

Yep, all this shit evens itself out over the years. We've been on the end of a fair few disgusting decisions over time. The only really biased refereeing that continuously didn't even itself out over years and years were teams playing against Utd at Old Trafford. Even that's showing signs of improving now Fergie isn't there.
We also got the very lucky penalty there last season. They must be fuming, two seasons in a row

We're still well in the red on that front.

To be honest had they'd taken their chances they wouldn't have had to worry about the penalty decision. In fact, they didn't take a chance all game. They could have been 3-0 up at half time yet it took 2 massive blunders for them to find the back of the net.

The ref got one thing wrong, the penalty. He got all the other big calls right. Thing is even without the penalty decision they should have been out of sight not relying on that. They weren't and we punished them with 2 shots on target (yet again exposing Bravo which nobody has seemed to mention as yet).

I completely disagree: I thought the ref was shocking, to both sides eventually but us to start with

He booked two of our centre backs for effectively their first tackles, then took 40 mins to book anyone from City, despite numerous fouls including Sane studding Walker's ankle and diving for a penalty

Their first goal was handball, their second saw Wanyama fouled in the build up. Another contentious one for city fans was Wanyama grabbing that ball when he fell over - he was fouled and it wasn't given

Walker gives away a blatant penalty and it's not given. The ref consistently played advantage wrong - not giving it when he could, then giving it when there was none, to both teams

There was loads more too. I thought he was shit, frankly

If that was Mike Dean there would have been uproar

Basically if Lloris was on form we would have won 2 - 0, it's a funny old game.

Excellent post except the Walker thing wasn't a pen. He was just giving him a good luck pat on the back. Kyle is very respectful like that.

Strangely yeah. I mean obviously the game would have gone a bit different and all that but essentially we scored 2 goals of our own work which Man City didn't manage in the game.

When you play below par and still get a result it says a lot about your team. From 2 nil down it says even more, if City had of lost that game they would be in turmoil! It was a poor performance but a great result IMO.

Yeah I said the same. The fact that we were absolutely awful yet got away with a draw away to Man City is pretty massive. It's kind of like what the 'big teams' do.

Exactly, if city had of lost it would have been a bigger story than us winning, if that makes sense.

Watching it in the pub, this old geezer who supported United was blabbing on about wanting Citeh to win. And how Arsenal are doing a Spurs by thinking we can win the title but then fading away.

I laughed then mentioned it's a lot better than spending £150mil and not getting out of 6th position. Said we wish we had that money to spend. And how United like to make a statement. I was like, yeah letting Pogba going for free and spending £90mil to buy him back. Told me that United will buy Dele and how Pogba will be better than him. Didn't like it when I mentioned Pogba was already 4 years older than Dele and probably won't be as good as people make out.

Fucking hate United and their arrogance.

The officials did have a stinker but I really dislike the bit I highlighted above. Let the ref make the decisions, grabbing the ball when rhe player goes down to try and force the refs hand is wrong.

I don't disagree, he shouldn't have grabbed the ball. My point is he was fouled and it wasn't given - the wrong decision. City fans are making out like he stopped their attack and overlooking the fact he was blatantly fouled and somehow it wasn't given

It wasn't blatant at all. I'm seeing so many posts tonight crying about the ref. It's borderline embarrassing.
