Daniel Levy has repeatedly told Antonio Conte in private that there is not a huge amount of money to spend at Tottenham Hotspur heading into the January transfer window. Next month looks set to be a crucial one for Spurs. They have not been at their best so far this season. And yet, they find themselves in the top-four in the Premier League and through to the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Like a journo what know what DL tells Conte (except certain Italian reporters who might know Conte)
We'll find out soon enough, January is only 12 days away

There's been experiments to prove that these sort of sites - even that rag that will print a story about anything if it means stirring hate (we all know which one I'm talking about) - come to forums like this one, find a singular rumour and turn it into an article to fill inches.

It's really shameful, nobody will further their career, all it's for is generating clicks, and no amount of reading rumours is going to influence our transfer budget, strategy or any players coming or going. Really a peculiar time line we live in.

And we literally have a lie of credit setup from the summer that FWIR we only tapped half of..
Not saying I expect us to spend 100m+
Just that a) these articles are BS b) ignore facts yet go off "sources" and c) piss me off more than I should let them...

Lets be honest, all the noise even from
our own lot here is that we won’t be spending big fees, i doubt this take is too far from the mark…
