Can’t forget the last cup game I watched us against them. From 2-0 up and strolling we were run over in the second half. So bad as I had a Liverpool mate with me who after complementing us in the first half couldn’t hide his amusement at the second half

Not sure if this is the right place to post this so apologies in advance…
For this game, I am trying to obtain 2 tickets for my daughters birthday so she and her boyfriend can attend together. I have a friend who is a fellow ST holder (silver) but cannot attend night games as he lives in Devon. He will therefore not be taking up the option of buying tickets for his own seats when that window opens next Tuesday so I would like to buy them instead. My daughter is a member (or at least her Mum is)but boyfriend isn’t although he has a CRN no.
My understanding is that the ticket exchange is for some reason not going to operate for cup games though so the tickets cannot be resold or gifted, is that correct and if so, how can we otherwise obtain tickets for those particular seats? We are in each other’s ticketing network so my plan was to go in and buy the tickets as soon as the window opens and then take it from there. Any help would be appreciated

My understanding of it is that if you’re forwarding a ticket onto a friend (via ticket share) then that is outside the ticket exchange window. I.e. you can share a ticket at any time even if the exchange isn’t open (Could be wrong though as not sure if it’s different for cup games)
