If he can go to WBA, we recoup most of our outlay, and he gets to play in his actual position in the centre of the park, we might all come out of this as winners.

20m seems like an ok deal for both clubs. Still hoping for China though.

If Levy lets him go for £20m, you can be damn sure we've not paid the full £30m. It's more likely that Levy paid £10m upfront and £5m each year he's with us, over a 4 year contract.

Can you go in BMW, take a 2017 M5 away for 10k then sell it for £60k to a third party in a year? And then just write off the £80k you still owe BMW?

The concept we only pay Newcastle the yearly instalment while he's at Spurs is up there with the flat earth theory.
