Me and my dad had a ST each for the last ten years roughly and when he moved abroad he gave access to me (I pay for both now) but the account is still in his name.

Over the last 4-5 years I take either friends or family with me, and never once have they checked our names. That includes my other half using one with my Dad's name. And no problems at Wembley for the European games last season or previous cup matches. And on occasion I can't make it, I give both tickets to family. No probs ever.
their changing the system, but there wont be auto scan like we saw before, and thyll make sure you cant use the same membership card for multiple use, and are installing system to account for this...my mate works in security at the club, and its gonna be tight

Thanks for replying

I'm not fussed what game i get to see, just wanna see them. I'm hoping there will be some in the gods on a 'less glamorous' game.

If you can book up a bit in advance there certainly will be. Closer to the game, it probably depends on how well we're doing.
Let's hope I can't get a ticket then!!!

Il get my mrs to get on the computer when I know I can get down there if it corresponds with a 'lesser' side. One other thing, is there a website that 'rents' season ticker seats legally & fairly priced (don't mind paying over the odds but not happing funding a stub hub, ticket master etc?)

To anyone that 'got' the e-mail. I had mine today and my buying window is just one day, tomorrow... Between 10am and midnight. Does everyone else have the same window, or are you on a different day? Seems very short notice to me, but I was only 37 spots off being in the original offer, so I'd expect to be in the first wave if it has been staggered. So... I was wondering if they've broken this one down or if we're all fighting for seats tomorrow morning!

There's no legal (or otherwise) ST rental site. Some people sell them for a year, but in theory they still have control over cup tickets etc, so you are limited to the 19 games. StubHub have been binned and no other site has been authorised as a reseller. In the place of StubHub the club have reintroduced a ticket exchange which limits the price to the face value for that game, which is positive for those who are buying, so that will be your best source if you don't expect to be able to buy tickets the normal way. That will, of course, be game by game and in a random seat though.

I'd be very surprised if they rolled out anything new for next season, like a picture ID. So the above user shouldn't have to worry imo.

In the future this is likely I guess, with the increasing terror threat and all. Might see something similar to what was in use at the Confederations Cup (Fan ID).

i reckon once they issue the new membership /season ticket cards and if its rented from someone else, with cash paid over, you could be in for a rude schock

don't assume anything until they issue this new batch of cards, and you know what going to happen at wembley first time use

I can assume what I like ha, that's what a forum is for.

I could be wrong of course, but hey, it's just my opinion.

Yep one day for me as well. My mate was 46 from missing this cut and has the same one day time limit as well. 6500 people trying to get on the site at the same time without it crashing is going to be interesting.

Anyone who hasn't done that dozens of times before to try and get tickets for Woolwich etc doesn't deserve a season ticket :p

What do you mean by showing no membership? The membership page is a bit of a mess at the moment and if you click on my account it gives an error. The only way I could work out to confirm I had my season ticket on the site was to log in and then click tickets, then buy tickets, which then shows I have it. If you try that and it's not showing any info about being a season ticket holder then I'd call the club.

So I've been waiting on the site since 9:15, clicking around to avoid it timing out...

Clicked this time. BIG DONUT!

Dammit! I wonder who can possibly be ahead of me. I want West Stand level 1! I want it bad! (I'd settle for East... despite West being designated home, the fact the away fans are in the East suggests there could be some atmosphere over there!!!)

I GOT MY SEASON TICKET! YYAAAAAYYYYYYYY

There was absolutely nothing left in the West Stand Lower and most of what was in the East was too close to the pitch for me... I couldn't face spending a whole season at the players' arse level! So I've spent a touch more than I wanted to be in Block 104 (Row 13). Looked at 141, but price vs view (for a seat right next to the more expensive seats) seemed the best compromise. I considered going for behind the goal in Club Wembley as the pricing for that compared with the lower tiers works quite well, but couldn't justify the extra £125 it'd cost.

Some more expensive/less popular areas (on the opposite side) were completely blocked out which surprised me a little, I mean, why would one side of the ground be half empty when the corresponding side is full. I'd like to have sat opposite where I was but there was no availability. Suggests to me that some blocks either had limited or no ST availability from the start to keep a good spread of options for general admission fans, otherwise they'd all be stuck up in the gods... where there are tonnes of STs available.

Either way, I am happy and, most importantly, I am in the door and will have equal choice of seats with everyone else when we move back home. :)

Congrats on your season ticket! Definitely in the door for the new place but according to the THST allocation and priority of ST's for the new stadium are still being discussed.

Assuming the longer serving season ticket holders will again have priority over any new season ticket holders for first pick of seats. Shouldn't be a bad seat in the house there though!

There were four options given in the THST survey which presumably correspond with what they think is being considered:

Length of time ST held
Loyalty Points
Tier of membership (Platinum/Gold/Silver)
Location of seat at WHL

Just got myself a season ticket in block 551 row 4 (the dark green section - top tier near half way line)

Pretty pleased with them seats as so many had already bought their tickets.

Been on the waiting list for over 10 years and finally have 1. What a day!
